Experience the Beauty: Colors of the Sky from the Mountain.

in Worldmappin2 years ago (edited)

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to visit Bandarban, a beautiful hill district located in Bangladesh. This district is well-known for its stunning hills and breathtaking waterfalls that attract tourists from all over the country as well as from overseas.

The hills of Bandarban are a treat to the eyes, with their lush green forests and rolling hills that stretch as far as the eye can see. The district is also home to several indigenous communities, each with its unique culture and way of life.

Bandarban is home to numerous hills and mountains, each offering a breathtaking view of the sky. During my travels in Bandarban, I had the pleasure of witnessing the sky's various hues, each more mesmerizing than the last. I even got the opportunity to feel and touch the clouds, which drenched me with their mist. From the mountaintops, I witnessed a beautiful rainbow and the serene sunset, both leaving me in awe. Today, I'll be sharing my memories and some of these stunning sky-colored moments through my photography.

The Large Rainbow:

Initially, we ventured towards Alikadam and ascended Marayong Tong by foot. This mountain is renowned in Bangladesh for its breathtaking summit. Upon reaching the peak, one can observe the clouds before them and occasionally even touch them.

While trekking up Marayong Tong, we encountered a heavy downpour that made our ascent challenging. Despite the harsh weather, we persevered and eventually reached the summit. As we arrived, we were greeted by a magnificent rainbow that spanned across the sky for several minutes. I was in awe at the sight before me.

The solitary swing:

As I reached the summit, I noticed a charming little swing tucked away in the corner. The photo I captured of it portrays its beauty and simplicity. However, I refrained from taking a swing myself. I was overcome with a sense of unease about venturing towards the edge, where the swing was situated, due to the strong gusts of wind that day. Ultimately, I made the decision to remain where I was, rather than risk the unsettling conditions.

In addition to the vast landscape of the mountain, there was also some small houses situated on the very top. Although it was charming and quaint, it was not inhabited by any local family. Instead, it was designated solely for the purpose of accommodating tourists.

For any traveler who wished to spend the night in the cozy abode, they were required to pay a fee. However, many tourists chose to sleep outside in a tent, preferring to fully immerse themselves in the serene atmosphere.

It was a common sight to see groups of visitors scaling the mountain just to bask in the peacefulness of the night sky and relish in the opportunity to slumber under the stars.

From the mountaintop, the color of the sky is a constantly changing canvas. It's a marvel to behold how it transforms from one hue to another. Sometimes, it's a brilliant shade of blue that radiates a sense of calm and tranquility. Other times, it's a deep, brooding black that seems to swallow everything around it.

But the most stunning display is when the sky takes on a golden yellow hue, transforming the mountaintop into a surreal, ethereal landscape. It's as though the heavens themselves have descended to bless this remote, rugged terrain.

As the day turns into night, the sky takes on a different kind of beauty. It becomes a vast, velvet expanse, pierced by a million twinkling stars. And in the midst of it all, the moon shines bright, casting an otherworldly glow upon everything below.

It's a magical place, this mountaintop. A place where the sky is alive with color and light, a place where the very air seems charged with energy and wonder. And for those lucky enough to witness it, it's a memory that will stay with them forever.
