Carnaza Island is located at the northern part of Cebu.

Carnaza Island is a turtled-shape Island with a approximately 174 hectares.

On our way to Carnaza Island and we didn't expect that two hours of riding was a hell of an experience. It was a really bumpy ride that time when we got there. I don't know why, it might be because it was an open sea really.

But when we made it to the Island one of our cousin had an acquaintance on the island and give us a squid for dinner. What a sumptuous dinner we had. It was way before the Island got known to tourist so that time when we got there it was only our group so the Island was all ours to explore. We just pitched tents that time, we never rented a wooden tent shaped that you can stayed for it for a night.

The next day we told our boatman to bring us to the nearest Island. So they took us to the La Manok Island. For some reasons I asked our boatman why it was called La Manok Island and he told us that the waves are like nag sabong (cockfighting?) hahahahah don't know if it fits. But that's what he said to us that time.

In the afternoon we roamed around the Island of Carnaza and found some hidden beaches on the Island. And the view was superb.

Striking a pose for proof it was taken near a cave. And Look at the water it was so crystal clear.

IMG_2864.JPG

And this was the cave I was taking about. I forgot the name of the cave but it was said to be the site or the dens or bunkers of our elderlies on the past years.

Look at the hidden beach it was fronting near the cave. I think foreigners wasn't able to discover this Island yet or maybe because of the transportation or the way of living the Island was not that progressive. But I think sooner it will come.

Having our thug pose. Friendship pose every time when we are at our adventures we never forget to do that pose. I think it was our branding as a group or just being doped. 🤣

Selfie before the sundown with this gorgeous people. 😂

Not gonna hesitate to ask for a photo that this nice right. It was indeed a great adventure we had.

Wow, what an amazing beach

Yes @aquagelas I bet you love beaches too.

This sounds like a lot of fun, hoping to have this sort of vacation soon.

Indeed @fredaa it was really fun.

I like your words that say "The sunset is proof of a beautiful story ending". I always worry about an inappropriate ending to the end of my life story.

But the sunset seemed to say there would be a better ending.

Spectacular trip I love the beach!.

And it also says that there will be a great tomorrow ahead.

Great article

Thank you for dropping by. :)

you're welcome

Daan Bantayan is one of a gem in northern part of Cebu. The place was magnificent 😍.Visiting the place is like you were in another country.

Yhup many places up north are undiscovered or hidden. Need to explore

I love the pictures, and also all the explanation about this trip. It’s great that they haven’t use this island before for tourism businesses, and I really hope the government protect it, so It can continue being in that way.

Thanks a lot for sharing!

I think government promoted it but I think due to the time travel and the waves bound to the Island was a bit scarier in the afternoon so better be going by morning because the sea is much calmer and maybe that's the reason why it wasn't able to progress that much.

What beautiful landscapes, it is a wonderful island. I liked all your photographs, great photos and your group of friends was great, it can be seen that they had a great time.

Indeed @jordy0827 we had a great time during our adventures.

It's funny how the locals named it La Manok because of the sabong hahaha
Wonder if that's true or what

There are two water currents happening on that Island maybe the waves make sabong that's why its called La Manok.

Nothing compares to the feeling of finding some hidden parts of nature! It just makes you appreciate everything a lot more :)

This place is really beautiful especially the hidden beaches. A good tourist attraction. Thank you for the directions, I will definitely remember to use it when I visit Philippines.

Thank you @smith1321. See you when I see you then.

The island do have crystal clear waters. I would definitely jump into the deep waters as soon as I reached the place, if I would get to go there.😅 Thank you for sharing this place @restlessadvntr! This island would be added to my list.
