I have only been in this Hive community for a few weeks but I have really enjoyed all that one can learn and express, in short, share. I like to travel and I like to take pictures of everything, for the memory of such activities.
That is precisely why I want to share with you some of the photos I was able to take on a trip we made to the Simón Bolívar School Ship.

Les cuento que tengo pocas semanas en esta comunidad de Hive pero realmente me ha gustado todo lo que uno puede aprender y expresar, en fin, compartir. A mí me gusta viajar y me gusta tomarle fotos a todo, para el recuerdo de tales actividades.
Precisamente por eso quiero compartir con ustedes algunas de las fotos que pude tomar en un viaje que hicimos al Buque Escuela Simón Bolívar.
First I want to briefly introduce you to this famous ship:
The Training Ship "Simon Bolivar" is a vessel used to train the cadets of the Venezuelan Naval School in their second year of studies, in addition to establishing peace relations with the countries to which it travels around the world.
This ship was first launched in 1979, restored in 2002 and returned to the water in 2008. Also of note is the fact that the ship is both powered and sail-powered, so students can learn to work in both conditions.
My wife (@Fabiarte), my niece (@chrisscoronado) and I had the opportunity to go and learn from him on his arrival in Cumana. It was really a nice experience to see a ship from the inside. Here I share with you some of the photos.
Primero quiero presentarles brevemente este famoso buque:
El Buque Escuela “Simón Bolívar” es una embarcación usada para entrenar a los cadetes de la Escuela Naval de Venezuela en su segundo año de estudios, además de establecer relaciones de paz con los países a los cuales viaja por todo el mundo.
Este buque fue lanzado al agua por primera vez en 1979, restaurado en 2002 y devuelto al agua en 2008. También es resaltante el hecho de que el buque funciona tanto con motor como a velas, por lo que los estudiantes pueden aprender a trabajar en ambas condiciones.
Mi esposa (@Fabiarte), mi sobrina (@Chrisscoronado) y yo tuvimos la oportunidad de ir y aprender de él en su llegada a Cumaná. Realmente fue una grata experiencia ver un barco desde dentro. Aquí comparto con ustedes algunas de las fotos.
The lifeboat, it looks like it has never been used because it is as good as new.

The Simon Bolivar plaque. They have to polish it every day, as well as all the bronze pieces on the ship.

The weather vane (to observe the wind direction) at the top of the mast.
La veleta (para observar la dirección del viento) en la cima del mástil.
The radar is protected with a cage.
El radar está protegido con una jaula.
Beautiful sunset from the ship. The skies speak of the greatness of Jehovah.
Hermoso atardecer desde el barco. Los cielos nos hablan de la grandeza de Jehová.
This is actually the coat of arms of Venezuela.
Este es actualmente el escudo de Venezuela.
These figures at the front of the ships are called "figurehead" and the legend says that they protect the sailors on the ship.
Estas figuras al frente de los barcos se llaman “mascarón de proa” y la leyenda dice que protegen a los marineros en la nave.
And I could not miss a picture next to the rudder with my beautiful wife.
Y no podía faltar una foto junto al timón con mi preciosa esposa.
Finally I leave you this little pigeon that also went to enjoy the boat.
