I miss Izmir - birthplace of my wife, a horseshoe bay with spectacular sunsets, friendly people, an amazing mile long seafront boulevard packed with bars and restaurants, fabulous weather and surrounded by mountains that stand like soldiers around the city guarding it from those who would do harm.
Can't wait for this pandemic to end, so that I can once again return...
