Hey there, here i am again showing another camping trip i made with a bunch of friends in the beautiful state of Santa Catarina, in Brazil. This place is called Valley of Utopia, it is situated in a city called Palhoça, it's a city that borders the magnificent Florianopolis, the capital of Santa Catarina State. This city is full of astonishig and famous beaches, and this camping site stands at the south bottom of Pinheira's Cove beach.

So me and my friends left our town and in about 2 hours we were arriving on the beggining of the trail, some folks from the area make parking lots from their backyards, so you leave your car a little bit safer there. The camping site is unreacheble by car, you have to walk in a trail for about 10 - 15 minutes until the entrace of the property. As soon as you finish the trail you come across this beautiful landscape

That little house used to work as a bar and restaurant, but as it couldn't be properly registered they have problems with the autorities so they were told to shut down. In the side of the bar there is a small cold shower, using water from the top of the mountain.
Arriving on the place we came across the owner of the place and his dog, it was a very peculiar dog, he looked like a boar with long hair all along his body as you almost coudn't see his face, i guess even his name was "hair". So the owner of the place gave us the instructions, they were really simple, tolds us to respect other people, take out our trash, and collected our money for camping expenses.
We asked him what were the best camping spots, so he pointed us one between some rocks, telling us it was good because we would be protected from the wind at night, so we set up our tents up there.

(this was our camping spot, no i'm not making a poo poo, just grabbing something from the tent, haha)

As soon as the camping was set, we started exploring that beautiful place, as well as looking for wood to make our bonfire.
i went up hill and took those shots from the top of the hill, looking on the direction of our camp.

That island that emerges from the sea is Florianópolis, it's really close from the place we camped, it was beautiful to watch it on the horizon.

There were a lot of cactus there, in that place they were loooikng like a portal to the landscape

That's me going back to the camp, probably tired of searching for firewood.

The sunset in that place was breathtaking, me, my girlfriend and friends stood in a rocky slope with the sea in our feets, and those beautiful colors and clouds in the sky, and with the Florianopolis island at our feets too.

I Stayed for hour admiring the view in that place, we even opened a bottle of wine to celebrate the moment. At night we started the bonfire and cooked some pasta with tuna, to sustain the rest of the night.
In the middle of the night we ran out of some supplies, so we had to reach back in the city to buy more, that meant making all that 15 minute trail in full dark, it was really scary but we made in and out alive haha, thank god my flashlight had enough battery, or we would be in a bad situation.
We celebrated the night talking and laughing with eachother and slept early, i even went for a cold bath before bed, almost regretting it as soon as the water touched my back, but i was really sweaty, wouldn't be able to fall asleep.

The night was fine, a woke up a few times because it was a little noisy, it was really rainy, windy and there were a lot of animals passing through our camp. I woke up early in the morning and saw this amazing view.

We packed our tents and gear a little bit after that and went for another trip on a close beach, called Guarda do Embaú, in this beach we climbed a mout called "morro do Urubu" or Vulture's mount, and got this amazing view, unfortunately it was a little cloudy, but it was definetely worth it, looking forward on going back there on a better day.
