Julley Everyone,
A beautiful day out here in the Himalayas. As per the expedition onto which I was about exploring the Hamta Valley and Capture the un captured places and explore! Were we wondering on the ancient trails towards crossing the two valleys of the Himalayas.
Thus it was a part of the journey that I will be sharing it with you guys!
It was around 9AM as far as I remember when we reached this place, As previous night we had camped on the other side of the valley and for today we had a place to explore the right bank of the valley and see the ancient enroute that the Shephards and the Nomads and the wonderers once used to commute nearly hundreds of years back. At the time where the folklores of the Kullu region consider this pathway as a Stairway to Heaven. So were we too excited to wonder on such a land.
Calling this part of my post Chapter 1 as sharing all of the information in a single post along with hundreds of photos would be a task by which I would no able to express the in depth insights of the expedition. So that I thought to break the Portion in parts so that I can cover each and every portion of the journey.
As per our plan we were just straight headed onto the North West direction which would lead us to the place where we were about to go. Along with the freezing cold river. The water was quite less as the glacier us there the mountain was nearly melted as this part of the year being the driest and the most riskiest part to hike. But we choose this part of the year as the days in this season the few days before the snowfall at this place is the sky is clear and the views too are! But the risk it that the unpredictable weather at such high altitude places is a thing as at any time of the day if the rain starts in just few minuted will the snowfall so would be the snowstorm and could lead us in trouble.
There were many obstacles along the journey rather than just hiking us the mountain we even had to make our way through the huge rocks and cross over the river. If by any-chance we get collapsed into the water. The cold freezing temperature could cause our feet to snow bite.
At the moment we had been hiking for more than two hours since we started our expedition from the campsite where we pitched our tents. And we were at an altitude of more than 4000m above the sea level and even the day being sunny the temperature was 0C and at night it dipped to -9C.
Over and through, We made our way,
Over the rocks, above the freezing cold river.
We made our way!
The views from the place were really beautiful. As from the place we were able to see the every different colour of life. As the greens and its different shades in the grass. The different shades of Blues in the Sky. The different shades of Brown in the mountain. The greys in the rock. The whites in the flowing freezing water and much more like the never ending sky.
The Stairway.
The pathway had the natural essence of a stairway in it.
Shepherds Camp.
We even came along the Shepherds Camp which mostly constructed by the rocks just in order to protect from the wind and wild animals.
So thats all for today guys. I hope you liked it.
Thanks for your precious time. 🙏
Love from the Himalayas. ❤️
