Julley Everyone,
Waking up to this beautiful day out here in the Himalayas as us wondering the Hamta Valley of Pir Panjal Range of Manali Himalayas, Himachal Pradesh, so it was our second day of our expedition. As in my previous post, I have shared about the same, but this particular post is something different, and this time period is something different, and this particular portion. This particular chapter of my expedition is somewhat different.
It’s about hiking and wondering mountain Summit wondering a mountain Peak, which I don’t think anyone has ever been in the past, so we saw about this through the Google Earth and we decided to hike the mountain as though we were on the Hamta Valley. It was a second day of our expedition. We decided to hike this mountain portion of the mountain, and let’s see that where it goes.
The glimpse of Google Earth something like this and our plan for today was to submit the second mountain which is seen in this picture and let’s see that till which spot we may go and let’s see where it takes us to so here we begin.
Beautiful morning out here in the Jawara campsite, the Chikka campsite, and where we were beyond the Jawara campsite, so it took us nearly more than four hours to reach the spot and reach the spot from the place where we picked the tents last night, and the place looked something like this, so we pointed out with our stick with a hiking stick, that where we would go and we would we would explore this place by just walking straight and then approaching the mountain through the sideways of the mountain beak, which was seen right in front of us.
It was a deep Valley, the Hamta Valley, which was in en route to the Lahul Spiti from Kullu Valley, but we were not going to the Hamta Valley though we were at the same spot, but our plan was something different. Our plan was to go on to the left side of the mountain, big down to the left side of Jawara campsite and submit the highest mountain peak, which was there in the Huta Valley Higher than hamta jot too.
We started walking and making away through the magical terrain of this region. The whole place it was really very different guys. Though it consisted of huge rocks, borders and the mountains were of just the rocks. No vegetation at all dry leaves, dry plants. Everything was so dry and so Harsh, the sunlight was direct in front of the sun was over, and the sky was really very clear, and it was all blue, though the temperature at the place was 3°C, but we were feeling very warm as the sun was direct.
We were at an altitude of more than 12,000 feet above the sea level and it was the main reason that burnt these trees and burnt the vegetation and even we were beyond the non-tropical zone, where nothing grows. No tree grows. Everything just dry. The whole place was very dry.
It was particular that time of the season, when there was no at this spot, otherwise this place was cover under the thick blanket of snow. Snow ranging more than 10-20 feet ehich would last form more than 6-7 months. Making it a white paradise.
We started hiking straight up to the mountain and made our way out through this magical difficult was very steep. When we climbed and stepped like 10 steps and hike for more than 10 minutes. We were somewhat in the midway. It felt like we were at the midway, but it was really really very steep and really very long stretch, though we had been hiking for more than 30 minutes and we had gain a great amount of elevation as could be seen in the pictures, but the whole stretch and the summit of the Mount be.
It was really really very long so we decided let’s go as we could see right up and ahead of us. We could see that the top of the mountain is just something left, which is not that much that kept us going kept going, and we reached at the spot where we decided, and we thought let’s sit here for a while, and enjoy the view. The view of the whole valley was something really very different.
The whole Valley seem very dark as the pathway through which we was really dark and we were at a great altitude at the moment. We were more at an altitude of more than 4200 m, and we could see the higher peaks of the Himalayas, and we were literally on the higher peaks of the Himalayas.
At this spot, we found a rock, and we decided to sit there and relax for a while. Enjoy the view of the valley, though we had been hiking for more than five hours.
So we thought let’s relax here for a while and enjoy the view of this magical Valley. This magical Valley being so and so dry at this particular season. I don’t think in the future, the place would be as dry as we got it on this day, as usually this whole place is covered and Thick blanket of snow and the rocks that are seen write in front of us are the glaciers, and which is daily very covered with a thick blanket of snow made away through the mountain and reached at the spot, not sure about where we reached, but there were very little wild bushes, and the whole grass was really very.
The Tiny Bush.
It was really a magical experience guys and really a wonderful experience when we after for a while hiking for after for a while we we got to know that the summit of the mountain is really very fast as we have been hiking for more than seven hours till now, and we were not even at the midway of the expedition midway of the Summit.
So we decided to sit there for a while, and go back down as we even had to reach the bass camp, otherwise, once it gets dark, the sun gets hit behind the mountain rocks behind the Rocks behind the mountain peaks, so it would the whole Valley would get so dark, which would be very difficult for us to reach at our base camp.
Even the valley was very lonely to so we decided to turn back and go back to the base camp and this expedition or somewhat unsuccessful one, and when I checked in the Google maps and the Google Earth, I got to know that we were not even closer to the midway of the mountain peak as the Summit of the mountain peak was at the highest spot, which was seen at a closer distance when we were here, but as we were getting closer and closer to the summit more far. It was getting from us, maybe in the future will try and reach the Sumit of the mountain. I will be definitely sharing the expedition with you, guys.
So we sat here for a while in the rock and saw the whole valley, and the view was really very pleasant and really very magical. The steepness of the ground did not felt that, but it was really very steep as we have been covered more than midway as what fell to me, but we were not even closer to the midpoint of the summit, so I relaxed here for a while and forgot about reaching the top and just leaving the moment.
I think that’s what we should really very do when we are in the mountains, we should live each and every single moment rather than thinking about the summit, though reaching the summit is also somewhat that kept us going, but in the end instead of Making it unsuccessful expedition, we decided to sit here and made it a successful one as we enjoyed the views that I don’t think anyone would else enjoy being on such a random hike and having no knowledge about the expedition to that way.
We are going and risking our life too, but it was a really pleasant moment guys. I still remember the moment in my memory and the same, so the whole the whole vegetation at the place the place look like green at some point, but it was more our brown and red just the rocks. It was really a different type of vegetation guys and I captured many photographs that I would love to share it with you guys and I have shared in this post.
So that’s all for today guys, I hope you liked it.
Thanks for your precious time. 🙏
Love from the Himalayas. ❤️
