Julley Everyone,

Few days are meant to be special, so was this particular day out here in the Himalayas where sharing these moments now of the adventures I went on summers this year at this particular time of the year, the place would have been covered under a thick sheet of snow that would last for near about next year near around 6 to 7 months from now, but this was the best moment I would say, as the weather was all clear, and also the frozen lake was all melted and all the ice that is at the place was all melted at this particular time. It was somewhere around late July when I visited the place and sharing these moments with you guys sharing the whole journey with you guys through this post.

The Journey.

IMG_7382.jpeg
The journey kind of looked something, just like this started the moment early morning near about 8:30 AM, since we were had to a place called Baralacha La Pass after crossing the Lahul Valley in Himachal Pradesh on the way to Leh, Ladakh Road the whole journey. It was somewhere of more than 180 km and beyond that made and we made it all the way to high altitude place. The altitude of the place was near about 5000 m above the sea level and that was quite a lot and that too reaching at such an high altitude place with a vehicle was daily a whole lot of a different thing. Usually I have been into high altitude mountains by climbing by expedition and Summit to the top of the mountain, but rather than driving all the way at such extreme conditions was really a whole lot of a different thing.

IMG_7325.jpeg
So as previously mentioned somewhere around 8:30 AM, we made it all the way it took us near about five hours when we finally reached at the place. The whole journey looked something just like driving through these roads with these beautiful magical views and all the way above the non-tropical zone above the tree line, where hardly any vegetation that grows.

IMG_7326.jpeg
Parked the car by the side of the road as the landscapes, they looked so unreal, so magical, so beautiful altogether just to be just to see the other side of the nature. Usually, whenever you think we think about nature, what we just think about the mountains. The lush Green Meadows, the trees and beyond, but to be and to see the other side of the nature. It was where we were at this particular moment, the high altitude, himalayan cold ranges that just feels like the cold himalayan desert and truly situated at such an high altitude place where even growing a grass growing, a grass blade was not possible.

IMG_7389.jpeg
But that was the story of the place. I was just so excited to visit the place as mostly throughout the year. The place is covered under thick sheet of snow that last for quite a lot of time throughout the year and it is just these few months when the place is as dry as it seems like in the lake is as visible as we could see usually in the past last year when I visited the place, the place was covered under a thick sheet of snow, but now this year planned the journey accordingly, also, the weather being on our side, the sky being so clear was beautiful day out here in the Himalayas, just being so excited, and all the excitement was just beyond the words when we visited, the place reached the destination.

IMG_7391.jpeg
I was just thinking about. I was so fascinated about that how the place would have been without the roads reaching Sachin high altitude place the distance that indeed was more than 160 km and above was really a whole lot of a different thing to just even think about that how the ancient wonder would have visited the place in the ancient Time and explored, these beautiful, magical wonderland.

IMG_7392.jpeg
It was not just about the landscapes, but the sky also looks so dramatic, so magical as the clouds they were, it felt like the clouds dancing in the sky with the sky, being as blue as ocean, and the clouds being as white as snow, it was just a perfect blend of the heavenly nature that it looked like something, just like this at such an high altitude place, and two with a higher elevation in just a single day we were kind of feeling dizzy as usually there is I altitude sickness. Whenever there is a lot of elevation gain, but it was not about to worry because we were carrying oxygen cylinders in our car and it was not even about feeling much dizzy, but still there was somewhat risk of it so just to be on the safer side. It is usually that even my local friends of the place nearby of Lahul village, they advise whenever we go at high altitude Place, it’s better to carry the safety, the safety oxygen cylinder.

IMG_7395.jpeg
We crossed many high altitude mountain passes, and we were at even few of the top of the mountain ranges as usual. The whole road is covered with the thick sheet of snow and ranging the depth of the snow of more than 15 feet during the extreme winter season, when it is nearly impossible to visit the place and the time being the extreme summers that made all the snow away, but still we could see the snow at the top of few of the high altitude, mountain ranges, and the mountain peaks were still unknown and explored and unclimbed.

IMG_7397.jpeg
I was just so grateful that I got the opportunity and especially with these beautiful moments with these beautiful times when the weather was also as clear as it seems like and also seeing the high altitude, Mountain ranges was something that I would call myself lucky, lucky enough that I could even share these moments with you guys through this post.

Another thing that I noticed and as at this place it was that I saw the colour of the lake. It was a bit darker colour on the other side and on the other side, it felt a bit light and even in the winter season or the early spring season when the place is accessible, but the lake is frozen. The lake has these different colours when the whole lake is frozen, as you guys can see over here, it’s not the colour of the water, but the way the light just shimmer over the water on the lake, and even the water that is somewhat sparkling and the sunlight that the shimmer is over. It makes it look like the water is like the crystals.

IMG_7399.jpeg

The different colours of shade in the water.

It was just a beautiful hidden magical wonderland. I would say as we could clearly see the different elements of nature in just a single frame in just a single moment and it is true beauty of the nature. The true beauty of this magical wonderland and the true beauty of the same. I have captured all of these photographs using my Apple iPhone 12 and most of them are in ultra wide mode so that I could capture the whole frame in just single photograph and you guys could also get as much as you guys could see in just a single photograph do let me know my friends, the photographs you like the most in the comment section and I would love to hear it from you.

A Photograph of me by the side of the Lake.
The lake Suraj Tal ( Suraj in Hindi language "Sun" "Taal" meaning Lake.
(The Lake of the Sun)

There even are a lot of Folklore and stories about the place that the local people usually say about.

The Painted rock with the name Suraj Taal.

From the place, you guys can see that visiting closer to the lake was only possible to just be coming down from the other side of the lake where the road you see at the beginning but going down all the way to the lake was a risky task as there were these all of the lose, gravels, the loose land that might just fall of like an avalanche as it was high altitude place, and this mountain is even worth all of the formation. Just of these tiny rocks that were at high altitude, region.

IMG_7439.jpeg
Here is a quick photograph of me standing right next to the lake, going closer to the lake was a risky task. So as you guys can also see that how deep the lake is from the place to be getting closer to the lake. We need to find a way, but that was a risky task so rather than we decided to just be at the place and capture these photographs.

I will be sharing the further adventures as there was quite a lot to explore nearby in my upcoming blog post. Stay tuned for the adventure upcoming.

We tried to manage just to reach the other side of the lake as even though the road was passing. Here is a quick view of the landscape. From the other side. From here you can see the whole lake. How beautiful the formation of the nature is at such an high altitude place.

So that's all for today guys, I hope you liked it.
Thanks for your precious time. 🙏
Love from the Himalayas. ❤️
