Introduction

Hi. It's @choogirl here bringing you the final edition of #traveldigest.😢 It's been seven years since @martibis and I discussed his idea to bring this project to life on Discord and I'm super proud of what it has become and the success it's had. I would personally like to thank everyone who's contributed to the map over the years, those who've supported the project financially, and of course all the wonderful curators I've worked with during this time.

@martibis and I actually met in real life a few years ago and travelled together for a week in Greece because you guys posted about some amazing places that neither of us were aware of. I will always be very grateful for my pinmapple experience.

And as this chapter of Hive history closes, I will say for the very last time, please enjoy today's post! Over and out from @pinmapple.

Believe me, this place has much more to offer, and I am happy to have the chance to explore it every day. But you have to start somewhere, so today we will take the path above the town, right up to Kirkjufell mountain."

"In spring, the island is beautiful: at the end of May, the trees begin to blossom and a walk along the alleys is particularly enjoyable. However, the island is nice in any season, even in winter. In winter you can't sit in a chair with your face in the sunlight, it's too cold for that, but there are other activities."
