Introduction

Hi everyone it's @LivingUKTaiwan here with the today's edition of the #TravelDigest. Today we'll start our travels in a swanky neighbourhood in the capital city of Argentina. Next we shall visit two ruin sites, one in France and another in Turkey. Such a contrast between the first and latter two posts. Hope you enjoy them.

🥈 The stunning ruins of St Bertin Abbey, in St Omer, North East France by @hoosie

" The workmanship around the main entrance door is quite impressive, as is generally found in such large abbeys. Rather surprisingly the 5 statues you can see on the pedestals in the middle of the picture are all headless ! That seems a little odd - I wonder if there is any connection to the French Revolution for that action."

🥉 The city of the Goddess of Sun and Light; Side / Güneş ve Işık Tanrıçasının şehri; Side ( ENG-TR ) by @passenger777

" After leaving the centrally located commercial agora, there are two gates that provide entrance to the city center. One of these gates is a high arch-shaped gate made of old building stones, through which vehicles can pass. Most of the guests want to stop at this door and take a picture. Especially in the evening, the street lights reflected on the door create beautiful images. "
