Namaste 🙏

Hope you all are doing great!!!

First of all, I would like to thank you all for the love and support on my last few blogs. The support has been really overwhelming, and I am really grateful for you guys to give me that kind of support. It really motivates me to write more, and because of that only, I am able to write almost every day.

So after exploring the Davis falls, it was time for us to get back to our hotel room for the lunch. If you have been following my journey, you will be knowing that my hotel was around the Lakeside of the city. This was the best area of the city and I knew that I’m gonna have a really good time and a really good evening, in fact here.

The lunch was so delicious and after having lunch as we were tired from the exploration of the day, we did a little rest in the hotel room for about a couple hours and afterwards we decided to explore the Pokhara city.

IMG_0711.jpeg

It was almost the time when sun was slowly setting, and we could see that in the horizon, this sky was slowly taking the golden hues and it was really magnificent as you can see in the photographs below.

We kept on moving towards the lake, and we came to know that there is a kind of festival that happens every night at the lake and is equivalent to the Aarti of Varanasi. There is Aarti every day at the Pokhara Lake, and we were really really keen to see it.

IMG_0713.jpeg

In the photograph below, you can see the preparation of Aarti and gathering of the crowd that was started to happen, in spite of it being about 15 to 20 minutes away down the line.

IMG_0714.jpeg

Slowly and steadily, there were a lot of people gathering around to witness the holy Aarti that was going to happen in a short while. I asked my grandparents to hurry up as I wanted them to have a seat so that they could witness this amazing ceremony.

IMG_0716.jpeg

We were really lucky that we got seats for three of us, and my grandparents were now seated, and they also kept a single seat for me while I got off to explore this place a little more.

IMG_0717.jpeg

When we reach there, we came to know that the Aarti would start after half an hour of time, and even after half an hour, the Aarti opening ceremony would start, and the actual Aarti would start after almost an hour, so I had an hour of time to explore this beautiful place.

IMG_0718.jpeg

So I started my journey towards the lake, and there were a lot of people roaming around, and most of them were tourists, and most of them were foreigners too.

IMG_0720.jpeg

I’m gonna tell you guys about my journey to the lake in the next blog. I think this is it for today. Thank you for passing by.
