Seeing the mesmerising Chandra Tal lake after hiking in Spiti Valley.

This blog is going to be really special. In this blog, I am gonna take you guys along with me to the most sacred place of Spiti Valley that is the Chandra Tal Lake.

If you will see my previous blogs, you will come to know about my whole journey of reaching here. This blog is gonna be the start of the reward part of the journey in which we got to see the very first glimpse of this mesmerising lake in its full glory after a tiring trek of about a km and also the journey of being here after hours of drive through the broken roads of the Spiti valley.

We parked our car at the parking lot and headed towards the lake. It could take around 30 mins of walking to reach to the lake so we started on this. The views around were getting crazier as we were walking around towards the lake.

After walking for about 25 mins, the lake was visible in its full glory. The view we all were longing to from a really long time was right in front of us altogether at once.

You can see the originating Chandra river as well from the lake in the photo. It was out of the world view that was right in front of our eyes. Honestly you guys tell me isn’t it something very dreamy.?

There was also a holy stone right before the lake as you can see in the photo below. Many people stop here to wish for good luck and prosperity in life. We did that too and headed straight towards the heaven.
