Namaste 🙏
Hope you all are doing great!
Now that we were in the middle of the Spiti Valley, it was a perfect time to stop by for a break and explore a little bit. We were travelling for more than six hours now and we needed some rest. Not only us. Her car also needed a little bit of break as it has been constantly running in such high altitudes.

We stopped by this beautiful looking waterfall. There was a lot of empty space on the side of the road where we could stop and have a little stretch. Our backs were sore because of all the travelling that we did. We travelled on this broken road for more than four hours now, and now we all needed at least five minutes to function properly.

So we parked our car on the side of the road and went out to explore this wide looking segment of the valley. The valley took a turn here as the Bada Shigri glacier was towards the straight side of the valley. There was a natural left turn towards the inner parts of the valley, which we were heading towards.

The place where we stopped by was a place straight from the dreams as you can see in the photographs below. There was a wide valley in the middle of this cold desert where you can see a beautiful river flowing as well as snowy mountain tops and a tranquil atmosphere overall.

We all were super excited and everyone just jumped out of the vehicle and stood on the edge of the road to capture this beautiful view that was right in front of our eyes.

While we were standing there, there were a couple cars passing by. They all greeted us and told us that they were a few tents vacant in the Batal campsite, where we were headed towards. As I have already told you in the previous blogs that here there were no mobile networks available, so there was no chance of communicating with outer world as well as the campsite owners.

The thing we were worried about the most was the availability of Kemps in the campsite, as otherwise we would have to sleep inside of our car. That would be really uncomfortable for all of us after such a long travel.

The nighttime temperature here goes around -6° C and you can imagine sleeping inside of a car in such cold temperatures that would be a deadly experience. Now that we knew about the availability of Camp, we were now a bit relieved, and because of that we spent a little more time in this rest stop.

In the below photograph, you can see the valley in its full glory. You can see the river flowing as well as the high mountain peaks of Pir Panjal range of Himalayas. It was a breathtaking site as you can see, and I want to keep a lot of photographs of this location.

Temperature also started to drop suddenly as we were now approaching towards the night time and there were also a lot of clouds that were gathering around in the upper parts of the mountains. We could also see a snowstorm approaching towards us and seeing that we again started with our journey towards the campsite.

There was a travel of around another hour to reach towards the campsite. We sit inside of our car and headed straight towards our destination and said goodbye to the valley views as well as the waterfall where we were standing at.

I would be completing my journey in the next blog that is it for today’s blog. Thank you, everyone for passing by.
Peace ☮️
