Namaste 🙏
Hope you all are doing great!
So here we were at the innermost Remote regions of Himalayas in the cold desert of Spiti Valley. This was our second day of the trip and we were about to start our journey towards the very famous Chandra Tal Lake.

We started from Batal at around 7 AM in the morning, and everything around us was very chilly. It would take around an hours for us to reach to that secret place, and that was our only agenda for the day.

Here you can see us crossing the battle bridge, which is the connecting segment between the two parts of the Spiti Valley. You can see the condition of the bridge is not really good, but somehow you have to manage it when you’re travelling in Remote places.

The weather today was kind of cloudy with high chances of snowfall happening later in the day, so we had to be really careful and really fast, considering how difficult conditions could get if we got stuck in a snow storm.

Here you can see the view of Chandra River from the top of the bridge. This was really magnificent and we loved it so much that we had to stop there to capture some of the photographs that you can see in this blog.

The road was very dangerous as well. There were chances of rock fall on every step and the broken patches of the road were looking really bad as you can see in the photograph as well, but somehow you have to travel through this road to reach that beautiful destination that was waiting for us.

There are also some very beautiful looking small temples that you can see on the sidelines of the road. It is believed that this place is home to the Demi gods, and we have to worship them whenever we are travelling.

Considering that point, only all the passing vehicles, pay homage to the demigods and take everything in consideration while travelling to these remote areas. We also did our part of worshipping the God and continued with our journey.

We knew that it was going to be a really long day, and we were really hoping for the best that the weather should be in our favour. I will be telling you guys about my journey ahead in the next blog for that time, please stay tuned.

That is it for today, thank you all for passing by. Peace ☮️
