Beyond The Cruel Sea an Impressive Sunset at Olinda beach

in Worldmappin11 months ago

Hello all and welcome to my blog :)
How is everyone?

As promised, today I bring Golden Hour to close our visit to Vila do Conde.
As I mentioned here, I really like the beach, the sea and the feeling of tranquility it brings me, so as we were finishing our day, we went to relax a little with a walk by the sea.
This is Olinda beach, very popular in the summer as it has a long sandy beach and two beautiful viewpoints.

The sea was aggressive but even so there were people going up to the viewpoint (which was built right on top of the rocks) to take "that photo". Personally, I respect the sea a lot and on these days I prefer to stay on the sand or even on the walkway. Regardless, I like capturing these moments.

The photos I most enjoy taking and having people take are the ones where you don't realize they are taking place. We capture more emotions and sensations this way. Nowadays taking good photos with the variety of cameras and applications ends up not being as difficult as in the past, but it is increasingly difficult to capture soul.

We already know the memories, let's keep them in our minds, but this is often not possible. My father loved taking photographs, as do my husband. We like to record a lot of what we see, what we visit, and our little one. We love seeing when she sees herself as a little girl and hears and sees us interacting with her.

Collecting sunsets should be a hobby for all of us, and sunrises too. As long as I can, I will try to keep many of them, in photos and in my memory. This is another one of them, after a day well spent in a beautiful city. Where once again we had the privilege of being together, healthy and learning more about the history of our country.

I leave you with a short verse from a fado about the sea.

Fui bailar no meu batel
Além do mar cruel
E o mar bramindo
Diz que eu fui roubar
A luz sem par
Do teu olhar tão lindo

I went dancing on my boat
Beyond the cruel sea
And the sea roars
Say I went to steal
The unparalleled light
From your beautiful look
