How best to welcome the moment of transition from the Old Year to the New Year? Someone likes to be at home in front of the TV and listen to New Year's greetings from the president... Maybe someone likes to be at a loud party with alcohol and dancing... But for me, the best option is to be in a new exotic place, to welcome the moment of transition to the New Year under the open sky, watching fireworks in the starry sky, or just silence among the stars, making new wishes!
So, I think you guessed it, I went on another short exciting trip in the middle of my #TheLongestTrip
There were unprecedented torrential rains in my beloved Kemer and I was accompanied on my way by thick white clouds over my beloved mountain canyon...
For this trip, I swapped my summer tires for winter tires and boldly set off...
After a few hundred kilometers we found ourselves in the mountains, where snow was falling! It was already dark when we arrived in the city of Avanos. And in the morning we found that we were like on another planet! So we really felt like we were in a New Year's fairy tale...
Around us were amazing stone formations of bizarre shapes, which were everywhere in the vicinity of Cappadocia - a famous place of ancient rock caves, churches and monasteries...
Imagine, stairs, windows and doors were created in these stone rocks! People lived there, prayed, died... It was amazing to see this, to walk among these mushroom mountains, with amazing hats!
Each of these places caused an explosion of admiration and incredible impressions in my soul! I was inspired to learn the stories of the lives of these people in this old time, and of course I will write about each of them separately! And today I want you to enjoy these photos, and let your imagination draw your own versions...
We visited the edge of the cliff, where the famous Valley of Love is located below! Hundreds of exotic rock formations stand here, resembling giant phalluses in their shape :) Next time, when it's spring, I'd like to take a walk down there!
We drove into the city center, where lighting and hotels had been created in these giant oval rocks!
So, having visited this famous land where people fly in hot air balloons, we want to come here again in May and give this flight to our @darine.darine on her birthday.
Next, our journey took us through the city of Sivas, where we walked among beautiful buildings and mosques. We also saw something exotic in the midst of a large modern city - the gentleman rode in a cart pulled by a donkey :)
And here is the culmination of our trip to winter Turkey: we saw snow for the first time in three years!
Darynka made a snowman! These are memories from her childhood among the high and deep snows of Ukraine...
So it was time to return to our home in Kemer. We had another 950 km to go...
And suddenly we noticed an unfamiliar alarm signal on the dashboard of our car!
Friends said: check the brakes!!! We opened the hood and checked the brake fluid. The level was at the minimum!
After praying, we set off on a long journey. At that time, our car had traveled a total of 23,000 km...
On the way home, we had to make another stop in the city of Konya, where we stayed at the great hotel, which was like a museum of antiques! This showed us the historical value of the city, where the famous Mevlana Museum is located.
After arriving home, we immediately went to Antalya, to the Mazda service center, the next day to check our brakes. And this is what we found: the brakes were almost completely worn out! We immediately changed the front brake pads and we thanked the Lord who protects us on all our roads 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
It will soon be three years since we traveled the world on our #TheLongestTrip. Sometimes life requires our full presence in other areas of life, and I can't immerse myself in writing articles about my exciting journey every day. But I hope that soon I will be able to return to writing about our adventures since the beginning of the journey and I will be happy to share with you all my wonderful finds and discoveries! Thanks for reading and your likes 💕

You were really lucky and God protected you. You need to do maintenance frequently while traveling by car. Konya has a lot of spiritual spirit. Its local food is not bad either.
