I Found a Soviet-Era Carpet Factory in Armenia 🇦🇲

For my first episode from Armenia, I travel to the quiet town of Ijevan, which was once an industrial powerhouse under the Soviet Union. Ijevan Carpet Factory was very successful during its prime, employing 3000 workers, and manufacturing 4000m² of carpet each day. Now it stands closed since 2015. I got an exclusive tour inside the factory, spoke with the caretaker, and learned what this factory meant to the people of Ijevan.
