Good morning hivers and happy Sunday, here I am with the second post dedicated to one of the Croatian cities that I liked most: Crikvernica! In the first post I had already published some of our selfies and talked a bit about the city in general, you can find the post here:

Today I continue my story, having arrived after taking some photos in the main square we decided to take a long romantic walk in the port. The port is quite large and full of very beautiful piers, there are several boats moored and the view of the sea in my opinion is just like a photograph, in fact I took several photos of the port, there was a very special atmosphere, almost melancholy, perhaps because it was early autumn or because the gray climate made me melancholy. After the walk to the port we continued up a staircase that leads to the main church and which is literally full of selfie stations, I had already published some photos in the previous post and now I will add more.

After the fascinating stairway of the selfies there is the main church of the city, a simple church without too many frills but very charming, dedicated to Sant' Antonio it is a very imposing church at the end of a long staircase as if it overlooks and watches over the city whole. They told us that this church is usually open and free but we were not lucky enough to find it open and we could only admire the outside, what a shame! We then continued our walk in the central streets, stopping in some shops and then we headed back into the mountains towards Tribalj where we were staying and in the next post I will take you again to this small village in the mountains famous for its lake and its calm!
