El pequeño y hermoso Pueblo de "La Cejita", justamente ubicado dentro del municipio San Rafael de carvajal que se encuentra a escasos metros de la hermosa ciudad de las Siete Colinas, conocida como Valera, este hermoso pueblo posee bastante años antigüedad que apesar de hoy en día se encuentre enmaracado por la gran urbanidad es un lugar bastante interesante lleno de tradiciones, cultura coordialidd ya que se encuentra consagrado por su gente llena de gran coordialidad un pueblo que de cierta forma aún conserva sus casas coloniales y coloridas, en sus calles se encuentra plasmada gran parte de mi Infancia, recuerdos maravillosos, tierra que vio crecer a mis ancentros que ya no estan, pero pueblo lindo que aún tengo gusto de visitar.

Este pueblito hermoso tiene su gran historia y justamente comienza en el año 1820 cuando este hermoso pueblo formaba parte de Valera pero luego se fundaria el pueblo, cabe destacar que se dice que antes de ser Pueblo era conocido como una Sábana larga, bajo este lema como lo veían los procederes de aquel tiempo nace el pueblo de "La Cejita", este lugar en la actualidad es capital del municipio Antonio Nicolas Briceño, que así se debe su nombre y de hecho el aeropuerto del estado Trujillo se encuentra en dicho municipio y posee el nombre de este procer de la patria, nacido en Sabana Larga es decir en esta localidad, justamente en la intercesión de la Cejita cuando vienes del municipio de Valera puedes encontrar la estatua que rinde tributo a este procer que estuvo con el Libertador Bolivar, Antonio Nicolas Briceño.

La Cejita es un pueblo que se encuentra lleno de muchos precipios donde puedes observar las montañas, cerros, valle y puedes observar otras localides del estado Trujillo así como también de Valera, sus hermosas casas pintorescas que algunas muy pocas de ellas conservan sus puertas de maderas, ventanales con sus protecciones de metal, la mayoria de estas casas son conocidas por ser más largas que anchas por lo que pocas poseen estacionamiento para poder guardar tu carro, generalmente son tan largas que puedes observar desde afuera todo el interior de las casas hasta la entrada y la salida, algunas de estas casas se encuentran deterioradas y habitadas debido a la gran crisis así como tras también se encuentran muy hermosas.

Justamente posteriormente en el año 1830 se concreta la gran fundación de "La Cejita", este pueblo rinde tributo especial todos los 08 de Diciembre a su patrona la Virgen de la Inmaculada Concepción, sus fiestas patronales comienzan días antes, así como también en Semana Santa hacen sus procesiones con las nueve carrozas así como también los penitentes transitan en forma de ofrendas por estas calles, la Cejita es una tierra mágica, hermosas, donde la mayor riqueza que tiene es su gente, hospitalorias, serviciales, atentos, dispuestos a recibir a su gente de una manera genuina, siempre haciendote sentir en casa, para ellos el valor del pesebre como tradición es muy importante por lo que todas las personas tienen su nacimiento fuera de su casa bien decorado y lindo.
