Hello fellow travelers, how are your adventures going? My adventures are going very well and although I have been to Maracaibo, there is also a lot of magic in the local tourism.
It's always good to be aware of sites that are in my city, most of the time I spend several hours in the day touring each of them to bring them to you, I like to be able to take a closer look at the history behind their construction and their purpose for the citizens.
It is a blessing to have places like this, as is the case of the care center called: Hogar Clínico San Rafael was built in 1954, is a building with a few years old but since its inception is providing support with consultations for those who need it most, but especially to patients who have some pathology or injury to the bones and require an evaluation by a traumatologist.
Its attention is directed especially to children is why in its main facade has a writing taken from the book of Matthew that says: "Let the children come to me", because previously it helped many infants with polio sequelae to recover part of the mobility of their limbs, although currently its attention is directed to people of all ages, regardless of social group or race, although previously only patients contributed a contribution for the maintenance of this care center now although increasing its amount is still much more accessible to the rest.
Although its main door is in disuse, its facade is really imposing among which highlights its color and some details such as a white sculpture of San Rafael, its roof, windows, with a small logo of thorns, a bag and a cross representing the Catholic congregation that carried out this beautiful project dedicated to the health of the Marabinos, the planters could not miss to provide shade from the trees.
From the outside you can see a niche with a grille where Jesus of Mercy is located and other paintings in the background of the Patron Saint of Maracaibo and the Blessed José Gregorio Hernández.
On its side façade, a painting of a chalice sits atop, as does another sculpture of a man holding two children in his arms over a large wooden door, again I was confronted with the white plaster logo of the Catholic congregation.
We hope to continue counting on the Hogar Clínico San Rafel for many more years at the service of the citizens so that they can recover their full health.

Hola amigos viajeros, ¿Qué tal van sus aventuras? Mis aventuras van muy bien y aunque he estado en Maracaibo, también hay mucha magia en el turismo local.
Siempre es bueno estar atenta a sitios que se encuentran en mi ciudad, la mayoría de la veces paso varias horas en el día recorriendo cada uno de ellos para traerlos hasta ustedes, me gusta poder mirar más de cerca la historia detrás de su construcción y su propósito para los ciudadanos.
Es una bendición contar con lugares así, como es el caso del centro asistencial llamado: Hogar Clínico San Rafael fue construido en el 1954, es un edificio con pocos años de antigüedad pero desde sus inicios se encuentra prestando apoyo con consultas para aquellos quiénes más lo necesitan, pero especialmente a pacientes que poseen alguna patología o lesión a nivel de los huesos y requieren de una evaluación por parte de un traumatólogo.
Su atención va dirigida especialmente a los niños es por ello que en su fachada principal tiene un escrito sustraído del libro de Mateo que dice: "Dejad que los niños vengan a mí", porque anteriormente se le ayudaba a muchos infantes con secuela de Poliomielitis a recuperar parte de la movilidad d sus extremidades, aunque actualmente su atención va dirigida a personas de todas las edades, sin distinción de grupo social o raza, aunque anteriormente solo los pacientes aportaban una colaboración para el mantenimiento de este centro asistencial ahora aunque aumento su monto sigue siendo mucho más accesible a la del resto.
Aunque su puerta principal está en desuso, su fachada es realmente imponente entre los cuáles destaca su color y algunos detalles como una escultura en color blanco de San Rafael, su tejado, ventanales, con un pequeño logotipo de espinas, una bolsa y una cruz que representa a la congregación católica que llevó a cabo este bonito proyecto dedicado a la salud de los Marabinos, las jardineras no podían faltar para aportar sombra de los árboles.
Desde afuera puede observarse un nicho con una rejilla donde se encuentra Jesús de la Misericordia y otros cuadros en el fondo de la Chinita Patrona de Maracaibo y el Beato José Gregorio Hernández.
En su fachada lateral, una pintura de un cáliz se encuentra en lo más alto, al igual que otra escultura de un hombre con dos niños en brazos sobre una gran puerta de madera, nuevamente me encontraba con el logo pero en yeso blanco de la congregación católica.
Esperamos seguir contando con el Hogar Clínico San Rafel por muchos años más al servicio de los ciudadanos para que puedan recuperar su completa salud.
