Visiting Mosque Endan Andansih at Purwakarta

in Worldmappin2 months ago
hello everyone, how are you? I hope you are well. I want to tell you about my visit last May, where I visited a mosque called Endan Andansih. I visited this mosque by accident. It turned out that there were a lot of visitors. I have to look at the location of this place.

This mosque is located in Purwakarta, West Java. This mosque was built because of the dedication and obedience of one of the government officials named Muhammad Yusuf Ateh. This mosque has become a new icon of Purwakarta. As well as being a religious tourism for residents.

Furthermore, this mosque has an area of about two hectares built in 2021. This mosque was inaugurated in June 2023, last year. the name Endan Andansih was taken from the name of Mrs. Pak Muhammad Yusuf. This mosque is also a tribute to his mother.

I was quite surprised by this mosque. But, that's my business. I see this mosque has very beautiful architecture. there is a blend of modern design and it becomes very elegant. There are traditional and contemporary elements that are arranged so beautifully. So, the combination of modern elements does not clash with each other.

In terms of architecture, I am amazed by the dome of this mosque. Although, for me, the design of the mosque is equally monotonous. Inside the mosque, there is the grandeur and majesty of the mosque. there are beautiful calligraphy ornaments. and this adds an Islamic or Arabic element to the mosque.

Another thing I want to say, this mosque is not in the middle of the city. Usually a rest area for inter-city visitors. If people are going to return to Jakarta. The facilities of this place, it is quite complete. there is also a souvenir segment.

the unique thing that I found was the toilet and ablution area connected to the women's mosque. So, women can pray directly without worrying about clothing. Maybe, that's all from me. I will tell you a lot about other places in Jakarta or Indonesia. See you in the next article.
