I agree that sometimes the best plan is to have no plan and enjoy the adventure.

The truth is that it is very surprising how arid the whole environment is, that pool of natural water is the definition of a vital oasis, a respite from so much drought. And well at least then the waterfalls help to refresh, too bad that the temperature contrast is so sharp as not to enjoy a dip.

The photos of the beach are beautiful, what a radical change of climate, but perfect to rest from the walk.
