West Lake Flower Valley

This is my last post in the flower garden series. I am a flower lover and have a special affection for flowers. Whenever I have free time, I usually go with my daughter to famous flower gardens of Vietnam. In previous articles, I wrote about 3 most famous flower gardens in Hanoi city. Hanoi has 4 largest and most beautiful flower gardens, in this article I will introduce: "West Lake Flower Valley" - one of the four most beautiful flower gardens in Hanoi city. West Lake is the largest natural lake in Hanoi, with an area of more than 500 hectares with a circumference of about 14.8 km. In feudal times, this was a place for kings to roam and enjoy the scenery. Today, West Lake is one of the famous beautiful landscapes in the capital Hanoi - it is a place associated with the history and culture of Thang Long citadel. West Lake has a romantic and poetic beauty, everyday there are many people walking around West Lake to admire the scenery. West Lake becomes a place to meet friends and family and a place to date and keep everyone's memories. In addition to the scenic spots, historical sites, West Lake also has many parks, restaurants and a beautiful flower garden.

Me and my family went to West Lake flower valley on a beautiful day, we had wonderful memories here. My sister lives in Son La - it's a town in the highlands, she came to Hanoi to visit my family.

I didn't rent clothes to take pictures that day, so I worked as a photographer for my daughter and my sister. In the flower valley of West Lake, there are many shops that rent out costumes for photography, you can rent traditional Vietnamese costumes such as: ao dai, camisole; or all kinds of lady dresses, modern dresses, doll dresses, .. The price to rent a costume is 100,000 VND - 200,000 VND (about 5 dollars to 10 dollars). There are also makeup artists here, you can hire them to take better photos.

There are hundreds of beautiful flowers grown here: Eg: lotus, cherry blossom, daisy, mexican sunflower, lavender, tulip, rose, primrose, impatiens walleriana, buckwheat flower, salvia splendens, narcissus, sunflower, cyclamen, carnation, violet, forget-me-not, hyacinth, geranium, petunia, heath bell flower, brassica napus..
In spring we will see roses, violets, salvia splendens, cherry blossoms, peach blossom.. In a warm climate we will enjoy a space filled with the colors of flowers, it's great to be able to immerse ourselves in it.

In summer, you can take pictures with lotus or sunflower, which are brightly colored flowers. In autumn, the flowers of petunia, heath bell flower bloom to create a space like a fairy picture.

In winter, beautiful white daisy and brassica napus flowers bloom all over the garden. At this point, you just need a white Ao Dai or a vintage dress that you can transform into a charming girl lost in the wonderland. Not only young people take picture in it but also many couples take wedding photos here. Here you can transform into a country girl, a classic European-style girl, or become a Dutch princess next to a windmill. Besides the beautiful flower garden, West Lake flower valley also has an entertainment area for children with slides, cyclos, wooden swing, ball houses,..
