Early Saturday morning before the markets set up and the tourist arrive.
Situated in the middle of Brisbane across the river from the hussle and bustle of Queensland's Capital city central business district.

Queensland is famous for it's magnificent beach's but Brisbane beening build on a river 25km inland and the river water quality not beening the best meant they had to build a beach. I think it was a great use of the old world expo site to redevelope it into a large open parkland area and water park.
The river ferries are used by people getting to work and are a popular way for tourists to get a good view of this river city.
There a new foot bridge that is being build to connect South Bank to the new Casino complex.
The new Queens Wharf Casino, My son worked there in it's early day's when it was just a hole in the ground.
I had my fast loud nike shoes on for a run along the flat and wide river side walk way. There is a popular parkrun here every Saturday morning and a cheap $2 underground car park if you have a parkrun barcode and are out by 10am.
The South Bank Piazza a multi purpose Performing Arts theatre.
There are many Residential appartment tower around South Bank to take advantage of being so close to the CBD and city life.
Lots of cafe's too
The ever changing Brisbane City sky Line on a peaceful morning visit. A good time for a little exploring before the city wakes up.
