After a bit of a rest in Perth at a beach side backpacker accommodation, it was time to hit the road again travelling north. Perth was nice, clean and quite, a little bit like Adelaide and my strongest memory was of the beach and the sun rising and setting in completely the opposite place than what I was used to, it almost felt like we were on another planet.

Cable beach, camels and the Hyundai Excel. Probably not the best idea long term for the car but it was fun driving a small 2wd vechicle on the beach

Was a little bit of a worry to start with but well worth the money, even just as a ride.

Getting to fly over the Bungle Bungle mountain range and seeing it from a totally different perspective in such a short amount of time was worth every cent.

We did not send a lot of time here but l would like to revisit one day and spend more time hiking and exploring around.

For the record, I'd love to go to the Bungle Bungles (what's their other name? Purnululu?) but I don't think you'll get me in a helicopter again unless my life actually depends on it. !LOL
