The instinct of people to travel the country is eternal. It has been going on since time immemorial. From time immemorial, people have rushed from place to place to know the unknown, to see the unseen, to catch the elusive. So if we review the history, we can see that tourists from China, Egypt, Morocco, Spain, Greece, etc. have flocked to our Indian subcontinent from time to time to acquire knowledge. They still come from those countries for tourism or livelihood.
In the midst of his travels, Marco Polo floated by sea to China, crossing the vastness of Asia. Ibn Battuta left his home and traveled to various countries in Asia and Africa to acquire knowledge. He came to our country during Muslim rule. Stories of such intriguing and adventurous adventures have made people travel more and more through the ages. Rabindranath Tagore, the world poet, expressed his interest in travel in his poems:

No one's mind survives to stay in the same place for a long time. Then the mind is anxious to get a taste of a little difference. There is no alternative to travel to bring the unseen within the boundaries of one's own knowledge. Travel is very important in student life. The famous English writer Shakespeare said -

Traveling around the globe can be a daunting task. Through this a person's education also gets perfection. In school, college, university also a student acquires indirect knowledge. But through traveling he gained knowledge through direct experience. Because, in the narrow courtyard of the school or within one's own boundaries, the knowledge that a person acquires by reading a book cannot be fulfilled due to lack of direct experience. Besides, the behavior, language, usage, culture and values of different people of different countries of the world have different nature. Direct and real knowledge about these is not possible without traveling the country.
Travel is essential for human life. Travel the country by filling the sea of knowledge with knowledge, inspiration, beauty, taste and experience of diversity. Therefore, it is very important to travel the country according to one's ability. Ibn Battuta says in his travelogue:
"Traveling makes one know the mystery of Lord's creation. Traveling makes us self-confident."
Therefore, the role of travel is immense for the smooth development of mental health in the necessities of life.
