We have those pine forests around here too, all planted to extract resin, but they kinda destroy the soil.

These ones end up at the saw mill; I'm not sure on the life cycle but there's a massive area set out for the forests, enough to get lost in that's for sure.
Dad told me not even snakes like to live under those trees, not sure why. At least there's plenty to hang a hammock \o\
Hammocks are cool...snakes are not. So, seems like a perfect combination: No snakes and loads of hammock-hanging space!
