Serene Escape: My Weekend Adventure

Seashore is always magical, from the sound of the crashing waves that give rhythm, the shimmering blue waters that look like have an endless expanse, and the cold salty breeze that refreshes our souls. Be with me as I embark on my captivating visit to Nathan Beach, where I discovered the tranquility, the excitement, and the abundance of natural beauty.

Yesterday afternoon, I decided to pay a visit to my friend in Sitio Panas, Lamintak Sur, Medellin. It's been a long time since we did not meet again. I did not even know that there is a good view from that place which catches my attention. While going to his place, I see a wide area fenced with bamboo trees. And I asked a stranger who passed by what is the building being constructed there, and she replied that it was a beach resort. So I took my phone and started to take photos with my camera.

After taking a photo, I continued to drive towards my destination, which is my friend's house. It took me 5 minutes before I reach his house. But when I was there in his house, a family member told me that my friend was in Nathan Beach, because he went there together with his other friends. I drove another 2 minutes to reach the said place but when I reach there, my friend was not around, he went fishing with his friends in the Parola with the use of a boat. So, instead of going back home, I enjoyed the beauty of the seashore. I am amazed at what I witnessed in that area. I take some pictures while walking by the seashore.

There are cottages in the area, so I asked the caretaker how much the entrance fee was, and he answered that it is only 10 pesos, and the cottage rent is worth 300 pesos. It was very affordable. The place is very nice and fits other activities such as playing volleyball, and also camping. In this place, we can see the Hagnaya Port and also the Hagnaya Beach resort which looks so near to the place.

This Beach is also under construction or beautification. The area was eco-friendly, the backside and the left side are surrounded by mangrove trees. The water looks green because of the reflection of the green mangrove leaves. The seawater is clear and you can also see the small fishes that shelter in the mangrove trees in the area.

There is a wide area in the seashore that accommodates the people who love swimming and enjoying the waves by the sea. For those visitors who can't rent a cottage, there is no problem because there is a mangrove tree that provides shade where clothes and food can be placed.

When you feel the heat under the sun while bathing in the water, you can hide in the shade of the mangrove trees. The beach was taken care of and all the garbage has been permanently removed by the caretaker. The color of the sand is a little bit different, instead of white sand, it is yellowish. It has small stones but is not sharp for the feet.

The beach has also two functional restrooms which can provide the customers call for nature. It is also equipped with showers for the post-bathing before changing to dry clothes.
