You wrote it so beautiful!
Thanks for sharing this with me! Also thanks for your kind words. Appreciate all of your comment!

Btw, we are also cinephiles, but with movies from our times. Me and my husband have seen together I think....around 800-900 movies only in the cinema. Not to mention the ones at home, the old ones..
I have had (and still have) but I didnt continue with it, a collection of movies we saw together at cinema, starting since nov.2010 when we first started dating.
And by the time of 2016,2017 something like that we had around 600 tickets. I wonder what number would have been now...I know that in 2019 things got slower going to the cinema as we had our baby coming, but when the grannies took our baby boy, we go (went) straight to the movie. That is where we feel comfortable and relaxed.

So..once ..I loved to read what you wrote. I can only imagine how it was...that time for you.

I apologize for the so late response, @missdeli! I took a trip to the place where I grew up. I was lucky enough to grow up in the country, in the north of Moldova, in Falticeni. I had a beautiful childhood.

Impressive how many films you've seen. It's ideal to have shared passions with your life partner, in fact, that's where the good, enjoyable life comes from... happiness!

Something strange happened to me... Everything that's abundant now was just a dream in the past. Movies, theater, books, magazines, music, travel... Everything I used to get gave me immense pleasure but now I can only think it was all amplified by lack. After having freedom and access to so much my interest waned, I think also because of the internet which gave me information and easy access to everything I wanted.

In terms of film, I was self-taught. I saw so many films, of all genres, that taste and understanding came gradually. At first, I was drawn to the image of the film, I also liked photography, then I started to understand filmmaking, my favorite directors and films. I knew which films were valuable but I didn't know how to explain why.

I think you too have formed your eye with all the films you've seen, you recognize the value after the first images, after the first few minutes of watching. I'm so glad you're a cinephile, that your family is cinephiles... I know your son will be, just as my son has become.

Thank you for liking to read what I write, I have to say I like your writing too and I'm glad I can always read from your older posts.
