RE: A memorable trip to the Himalayas in Uttrakhand, India

Only temple visits... I really can't imagine how beaitiful those breathtaking views will be(:

Glad you enjoyed your trip...

I like some of your sentenses sometimes a wrong turn takes you to the right path in life and another about it being peaceful in the temple, first one.

That's what mountain temples do, I am not religious but these temples on mountains have greenery and you can relax, even if your not religious kind!!

It's very serene... and peaceful beyond words!!

The articulation and details in the write up was just enough...

I also like that you described the drive the risk of landslides and stuff...that's so true...

I wish the beautiful of the might himalayas remains, with climate change, landslides and disasters are becoming the norm and it hurts...

They must free the mighty ganges from Himayalas and that will be truely holy!!

How I wish I could travel there but I am glad to hear of it indirectly from articles like yours!!

Hi @mintymile. Hope you are doing well.

Yes, temples were the focus in this trip. And I am not very religious too myself but it sure was peaceful and relaxing.

They must free the mighty ganges from Himayalas and that will be truely holy!!

Not sure if I got what you were trying to convey here.

Anyway, thanks for your nice comment. Have a nice day.

The river ganga is damed... even at the upper ranges... like Alak nanda... as its damed, caged, river flow is effected... and river is dead...add to it all the pollution and stuff..

Basically, what I meant is a free flowing river, being with it will be really holy, truely holy and pure than temples.

Thanks have a good day
