Three Falls, One Epic Day: Tumalog, Aguinid, and Kawasan Falls Adventure

There is something undeniably magical about waterfalls - the flowing of waters from above, the cool breeze of air that refreshens your face and body, and the sense of calmness that soothe all over your body as you face the beautiful nature.
Today, I embarked my fulfilling falls hopping adventure in South of Cebu, exploring the three iconic water falls in Cebu - Tumalog, Aguinid and Kawasan Falls. Let me share with you my experience in this incredible journey as I unfold the gem of the world.

Tumalog Falls

---

Our waterfalls adventure begins at Tumalog Falls, a hidden gem located in the mountains of Oslob Cebu. This is our very first line or the starting line for this adventure. This is very interesting and amazing activity because we need to go down to reach the kawasan falls where the end point in this journey.
The tremendous height of the falls, and the flashing of waters coming from above, the intensity of the water flowing down was very incredible. I'm so excited to share with you my adventurous activity for this day.

Tumalog Falls - Level 1

This is the Level One. This is the first exciting level of activity which we will go down and just go with the flow with the water. The intensity of the flowing water was enough for us to stay together, and carefully go hand by hand.

• Tumalog Falls is known for it's delicate, curtain-like streams that gently flow over a massive limestone wall, creating veil of water that sparkles in the sunlight. The area around the falls is serene and almost otherwordly, with most-covered rocks and cool mist enveloping the surroundings. The pool at the base is shallow and perfect for a refreshing dip, allowing us to relax and refresh our minds and body in the tranquility of the place.

Level 2

In this level, it was more different from all the levels because you need to climb up to surpass this level. It's very adventurous yet risk taking activity since you need to climb up using the cord with the water flashes to your face. The intensity of the water coming from above is slightly strong so you need to hold the cord very carefully, because you might fall from the current of water flowing down.

Since they are very scared to try it, I volunteered myself to go first in line. Even though I was scared also, the eagerness of trying this new adventure pushed me to try it and surpass this level. The feeling of accomplishment was very fulfilling. That made me so happy about this journey. It has a lot of thrilling moments, jumping from a cliff, climbing to the solid rocks, gliding from the shallow areas. It was a first time for me. And it is all worth it.

Aguinid Falls

Our next destination lead us to Aguinid Falls. This part is very beautiful for taking pictures. The solid rocks with the effects of the water falls is very perfect for an instagramable shots. The feeling of the water flowing down and touches our body and face is so amazing. You can really feel the essence of nature and the mesmerizing beauty of the place. The water soothes our skin felt so refreshing and relaxing. Feels like all the negativity in life flashes instantly.

We had our groupie here as a remembrance of our travel journey in this amazing falls. It was truly a hidden gem of the queen city of the south. Unlike the gentle elegance of Tumalog, Aguinid Falls promised thrills and adventure with it's multi-tiered torrents with challenging settings.

Level 5

Our tour guide told us to climb in this area so that he could take a picture of us here. Though it was not easy to climb because of the rocky big rocks, still we did tried it for the sake of picture taking 😅 And amazingly, it was a unique shots.

Going down as we continue our adventure, we did felt a little bit tired so we decided to take a break and take a pose of course since the scenery is very relaxing and and beautiful. It was so perfect for chilling and get together. The nature, the flowing water and the scenery is very comforting.

Another spot for picture taking 😅 We treasured all the moments that were here so every spot of this adventure is remarkable.

Discovered this spot and got the opportunity to take picture. 😊 It is just so unique that it captivate my eyes. This is our last stop for Aguinid Falls and we will go down to reach Kawasan Falls.

We're here on our last adventure for today, the Kawasan Falls. It was also beautiful with it's own distinctive form and aura. We can enjoy swimming here since it has a wide area. It has also a sliding rock that you can try and also a cliff if you want to jump from above. The water here is very cold, that make you shivered. We take our remaining time here enjoying ourselves since we don't know when we will be able to come back in this place. 😌

After we had our time for swimming, we decided to eat. It's already 3PM, and we had our late lunch. After all the activity we did earlier, that's when we started to feel tired and hungry but no regrets. All the happy memories, the new adventures and the thrilled moment was all worth it.

After we had our late lunch, we decided to go home since it's already late in the afternoon. In our way home we spotted this beautiful place. I immediately took a picture because it had such a unique look.

I also took a picture of myself here to have a memento of the place. I really found it beautiful.
