Hello everyone, today is another trip. This time, I will take everyone to travel to "Porto Mirabello", La Spezia, Italy. This trip started in the summer of August. It was my birthday trip. We booked a room on a small boat, but it wasn't too small. When we arrived at the port, we parked the car and prepared our stuff to board the boat.
The boat owner came out to welcome us. There were many boats, both small and large, parked at the port, thousands of them. I think each boat has an owner. Some boats are houses and some are rooms for tourists who want to stay and enjoy the atmosphere on the boat. Here, there is a trip organized as a cruise. Each day, there will be a tour to take tourists on a cruise to see the atmosphere. But for us that day, we didn't book to go on a cruise, we just stayed on the boat.
When we arrived, there was a small entrance door. On the side, there were boats parked in a row. The boat owner took us up to the boat and showed us around the boat. That day, there were three groups of tourists on the boat, including us. This boat had three rooms in total. Each room had a double bed and towels provided. The bathroom was a shared bathroom with a small shower for taking a shower. You can cook here. There is a coffee maker for service, plates, glasses, etc. in case anyone wants to eat on this.
I was very excited, looking at the boat while the waves were gently rocking. We arrived quite late and intended to buy something to eat on the boat nearby, but there were not many restaurants that allowed take-away, so that evening we ate at a restaurant. Then we walked back to the boat to prepare to sleep. This was my first time sleeping on a boat. I was excited because I didn't prepare much. But what shouldn't have happened was that I got seasick. LOl I couldn't sleep in the bedroom on the boat. But luckily the boat owner said that we could sleep outside at the front and top of the boat. And luckily we had prepared sleeping bags.
Without delay, it was getting closer to dusk. We prepared our things to sleep outside at the front of the boat. I felt better because there was a comfortable breeze, not too cold or hot. The later it got, the fewer waves there were because the big boat didn't travel, so there weren't many waves. I prefer to sleep outside. Even though there were mosquitoes, the weather was quite good.
Slept until morning. I didn't get much rest, so I had to wake up early to see the sunrise in the morning. I didn't hesitate to pick up my camera and take pictures. The photos taken are very beautiful. The atmosphere is good. The light of the new day seen from this angle is really beautiful. People are doing activities. The light starts to shine, the sky starts to change color. The lights from the boats are also turned off. It's a beautiful picture.
We sit on the boat, eat breakfast, take a shower. Today, we are not in a hurry. We have to check out because there are no customers. We decided not to continue the cruise because I feel tired from seasickness. I can't stay on the bottom of the boat for long. It makes me dizzy. But outside, I can see the view and breathe better. Until almost noon, we pack our things and get ready to go back.
