Lovin’ Yoki’s farm - A birthday surprise for the man of the house

Off to Tagaytay!

This year, my sisters and I decided to have an advanced birthday celebration for our dear father. We also took the chance of bonding it all together since I and my daughter were in Manila at that time. We couldn’t celebrate our father’s birthday on the day itself. That’s why we decided to celebrate it in advance. It was a surprise!

Our first stop was on Yoki’s farm.

Why Yoki’s farm?

There may be other destinations that we can visit in Tagaytay, but our father loves nature and animals. There are a couple of zoos in Tagaytay. The other one was too far from where we are staying, and the other one would be a little bit boring, as I and my husband already went there last year.

We had our breakfast in Tagaytay first. Of course, we needed energy for our zoo tour.

We just rented a van so all of us can go there all together. We arrived at the zoo as soon as it opened, around 7am or 8am.

Students also visit the zoo as one of their educational tour destinations.

We wanted to avail of the package whereinour parents can harvest veggies from their hydroponics farm, but to no avail. We weren’t able to avail of the package, as they just harvested a couple of months ago, and there is not enough lettuce from the package that can be harvested.

They also assigned a tour guide for us. Let’s see what the Yoki’s farm tour got us.

There are other areas that are still in renovation. Probably they are going to expand the zoo a little bit more so more animals can be accommodated.

It took us 2 hours to tour the place, and we were simply entertained by our tour guide. He mentioned that it was his father originally who worked there, and he’s been accompanying his father since he was 7 years old. It was also his birthday, and he is now 21 y/o. No wonder he’s been so knowledgeable about plants and animals. My father loved that about him because my father was a gardener. There are things and information that my father just learned through him, and he also shared a little bit of what he knows.

We also bought a few plants for my sister and our mother. After we had our tour, we stayed at the playground so that the kids could play and enjoy more.
