The last couple of weekends I had the privilege of leaving the city stresses behind and going away to a beautiful camp resort- Formosa Camp. Set deep in the middle of nature, this hotel guaranteed a mixture of 2 things: leisure and excitement and it did not disappoint. Once there, I instantly realised that it would leave a lasting impression.
I slept in a beautiful cottage that presented beautiful views of its surrounding. The interior had an exquisite design with a mixed blend of modern comfort and rustic use notably a comfy bed, small kitchenette and a personal balcony. In the evenings I used to sit in the balcony and sip tea in the beautiful sunsets which shone out the sky in orange and pink colours. This place was the perfect place to relax after the day of activities.
At Formosa Camp Resort, there is more to leisure and it provides various activities to the adventure enthusiasts. On my first day I thought that I would hike. There are a number of well marked trails that can suit different skill levels within the resort. I selected a medium path which took me through thick woods and up to an opportunity to view.
One of the next days, I took part in a kayak tour to go across one of the local lakes with a guide. Paddling along the serene waters in the middle of the nature was a surreal feeling.
The restaurant on-site was a pleasant attraction with a wide selection of dinner meals based on locally produced foods. I enjoyed my food, lunches and dinners as well as breakfasts. There was one night I decided to treat myself to a barbecue night wherein I ate various grilled meats and fresh vegetables stargazing. The atmosphere was ideal, there were some gentle music put on in the background and some fragrance of grilled foods spread in the air.
With an end of my weekend at Formosa Camp Resort, I could not help feeling a new person. It was refreshing to have nature, adventure and leisure. I used some time to relax and reflect on my experiences and enjoy the beauty and appreciating the memories that I had created.
As I left the resort, I had the feeling of being thankful of the experience spent in such a relaxing location. Formosa Camp Resort is an oasis that you can escape daily stress. I moved with the heart filled with memories and my promise to come back. I suggest you visit Formosa Camp Resort in case you are in search of a short adventure venturing with tranquility. You will never regret!
