Unforgettable Travel Home Vacation With My Family! By @maris75

Hello #Haveyoubeenhere community and to all travel lovers out there. I'm very much excited to share my unforgettable travel vacation with my family to my place.

I grew up from the province Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. My heart belongs to a provincial ambiance and I really love nature.

When I went to Cebu to land a job and got married, I seldom visit my homeland specially now that I have family with two kids. Spending vacation to my parents is quite expensive because it's a far distance which takes 12 hours to travel by ship. I need a budget of almost 10,000 pesos or about 210 HIVE roundtrip fare for 4 persons.

Upon arriving the port area of Dapitan City, we can see these beautiful view. I am more excited for my kids because it's their first time to visit this place.

I can see the eagerness of their faces. I want to let them experience the lifestyle of our place which I used to do during my childhood years.

In the next morning, we went to my sister's farm to get pomelo fruit and also to visit their corn farm. Corn is the main source of food in our place. Mostly, our harvest is for our food only.

With the help of the carabao we were able to cultivate our farm properly and more easily. So every farmer in our place has its own carabao. And carabao is our country's "national animal". We really value our carabaos.

I also brought them to our beach which has more waves rolling on the sea shores. My son really enjoy playing the waves together with their cousins. It's their first time to took a bath in the beach with a bigger waves. My husband also watched them closely to be sure that they were safe.

I also let them tried the games I used to play when I was a kid. Riding the leaves of coconut on the stip portion and let the palm leaves slides. It has so much fun. I'm happy to watched my kids that they enjoyed it too.

Also I showed them the river where we can wash our clothes there. It's the first time also of my husband to experienced that. The river is clean because only few residents lived near the place. The water was a bit uncleared due to rains that time.

It was a happy and satisfied vacation. The fun and happiness of my kids was priceless. It's all worthed it.

For anyone who wants to visit our province. It's so peaceful and bests for relaxing and unwinding due to rich in natural resources.
