La mayoría de nuestros paseos y aventuras son improvisados...
Un día normal de diligencias termina transformándose en unas horas de esparcimiento e infinidades de fotografías...
Y eso fue lo que ocurrió en esta ocasión.
Por diversas diligencias teníamos que ir a la capital del País, Caracas. Como sabíamos que tendríamos que caminar mucho y sería un día agotador, decidimos dejar a nuestra hija en casa bajo el cuidado de la abuela...
Metí en el bolso mi cámara... Por eso de que: "uno nunca sabe con lo que se pueda topar en la vía" 😁
Y fue una buena decisión... Pues, al pasar frente al parque del Este "Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda", no dudamos en detenernos a disfrutar de estas hermosas vistas que ofrece el lugar, por al menos un par de horas.
Most of our trips and adventures are improvised...
A normal day of errands ends up turning into a few hours of relaxation and an infinite number of photographs...
And that is what happened on this occasion.
For various errands we had to go to the capital of the country, Caracas. As we knew that we would have to walk a lot and it would be an exhausting day, we decided to leave our daughter at home under the care of her grandmother...
I put my camera in my bag... For that reason: "you never know what you might run into on the road" 😁.
And it was a good decision... Well, when we passed in front of the park "Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda", we did not hesitate to stop and enjoy these beautiful views that the place offers, for at least a couple of hours.
Este parque es uno de los más importantes de la capital, cuenta con unas 64 hectáreas... Varios lagos artificiales e infinitas áreas verdes, cafetines y kioskos para pasar momentos agradables.
This park is one of the most important of the capital, it has about 64 hectares... Several artificial lakes and endless green areas, cafes and kiosks to spend pleasant moments.
Actualmente en Venezuela el verano está mucho más fuerte que en años anteriores, por ese motivo muchos árboles no poseen su verdor característico, sin embargo eso no les impide adornar con su belleza el lugar.
En lo personal tengo fascinación por este tipo de árboles que muchos llaman "Naturaleza Muerta"... Sin embargo yo la llamo "naturaleza desnuda" 😁
Currently in Venezuela the summer is much stronger than in previous years, for that reason many trees do not have their characteristic greenery, however that does not prevent them from adorning the place with their beauty.
Personally I am fascinated by this type of trees that many call "Naturaleza Muerta" (Dead Nature)? However I call it "naked nature" 😁
Encontré un lugar que me gustó mucho, habían unos captus que crecieron gigantes, nunca había visto unos tan altos...
Fue inevitable sacarme muchas fotos junto a ellos y las inmensas rocas que estaban en el lugar. Aún me pregunto cómo fueron a llegar tantas piedras gigantes a este parque. ¿Será que antiguamente pasó un río por aquí?
I found a place that I liked very much, there were some captus that grew gigantic, I had never seen such tall ones....
It was inevitable to take a lot of pictures with them and the huge rocks that were in the place, I still wonder how did so many giant rocks get to this park? I still wonder how so many gigantic rocks came to be in this park, could it be that in the past a river passed through here?
Pese al fuerte verano, logramos conseguir algunas flores resistentes a este calor abrasador... Además también disfrutamos de algunos animales del lugar...
Despite the strong summer, we managed to get some flowers resistant to this scorching heat... We also enjoyed some of the local animals...
Llegamos al último lago... Yo quería montarme en un botesito, pero aún teníamos diligencias por hacer, así que... El tiempo no nos daba para disfrutar de un agradable paseo en bote. 😐🥺
We arrived at the last lake... I wanted to take a boat ride, but we still had errands to run, so.... The weather wasn't giving us enough time to enjoy a nice boat ride. 😐🥺
En esta oportunidad el Buque Leander se encontraba en reacondicionamiento... Una de las atracciones más llamativas del lugar...
On this occasion, the Leander was undergoing refit... One of the most striking attractions of the place...
La hora de irnos llegó y aún nos quedaron un par de lugares por recorrer, por ejemplo el serpentario...
Sin embargo esperamos volver en cualquier momento con un poco más de tiempo y por supuesto con nuestra hija para así poder disfrutar a plenitud de todas las instalaciones de este agradable parque.
It was time to leave and we still had a couple of places to visit, for example the serpentarium....
However, we hope to return at any time with a little more time and of course with our daughter so we can fully enjoy all the facilities of this nice park.
Pese a ser un paseo rápido, fue muy agradable... Pasamos un rato diferente que no habíamos planeado y lo disfrutamos en muchos aspectos...
Esperamos tener más salidas de este tipo 😁.

Despite being a quick ride, it was very pleasant.... We had a different time that we hadn't planned and enjoyed it in many ways....

Este año he ido a Caracas en 3 ocasiones, y tenido la intención de ir al Parque del Este, para hacer algunas fotografías, pero por circunstancias de tiempo, nunca termino yendo, veamos si a la próxima logro ir. Saludos y excelente post, que bueno que hayas disfrutado de esa visita.

Hola @maridmc!... Excelentes fotos, me alegra que hayan podido visitar el Parque Del Este... Yo solía ir todos los años cuando era un niño. Mi familia paterna vivía en Los Dos Caminos y de ahí nos íbamos caminando al parque en las mañanas... Recuerdo todo "como en sueños"... Papá con una camarita Kodak de rollo, yo queriendo entrar al Planetario Humboldt, el serpentario, la anaconda, los caimanes, el jardín xerófilo... Veo que mucho sigue igual... Aunque se nota que la estación seca ha sido dura con la vegetación... Aunque sigue conservando su encanto. Excelente post, la bendición a todos por la casa, feliz fin de semana desde ya. :-)
Si vale el verano a golpeado duro... No es fácil mantener verde esa cantidad inmesa de hectáreas... Sin embargo esta todo bien cuidadito, como usted lo dice, mantiene su encanto 😁....
