Travel With No Limits, To Find The Missing Piece of Yourself...

Hi there, Loverboy once again😉. How's everyone?...
I would like to apologize if my adventure took a long time because of my hectic schedule of work and personal matters. But anyway, before I share my unforgettable experience, allow me to say a GOOD DAY from the deepest part of my heart!!!

In life sometimes we need to go out from things we used to be or need to escape from reality. We sometimes need time for ourselves and sometimes out of our comfort zone in order for us to see the real meaning of "SELF".

So I decided to visit my classmates from the recruits in their respective residences in the Southern part of Cebu and the same way to explore more the beauty of their place.

We traveled for almost 4 hours and approximately 220 kilometers from my residence to reach our destination. After, sharing of experiences in regard to work and some good times with them, we decided to have a short road trip and look for a place to relax. From the Municipality of Dumanjug, Cebu we agreed to go to the Municipality of Badian and Alegria, Cebu. I was also excited because I know that Municipality Badian and Alegria are very well-known in Canyoneering. But sadly, canyoneering was quite expensive and our resources were limited 😔 so we took it for granted because we might not be able to go home. Then and there we came up to the decision to take another route which the Alegria-Dalaguete Trans-central Highway.

We traversed the bouncy road of the Municipality of Alegria and Municipality of Dalaguete Trans Central Highway and experienced the amazing surroundings in the rare opportunity to explore the undiscovered creations of the Almighty.

When in the middle of the centermost of the Road Trip, It caught my attention the newly constructed road with flowing water in between the two concreted roads. And I got nervous because there were no people around to ask what place it was.

Honestly, I don't have any idea what the place is because the area is Dead Spot and I need to find out the reason why the road was renovated.

In just a few minutes and meters of travel from the trans-central highway, I was really surprised and amazed at what I saw. I thought I finally found "Someone"...Charr...😏 Just kidding.... but the beautiful rare view of the Waterfall. This waterfall is 14-15 feet and what makes it beautiful is that there are no houses around and not yet developed or natural. You can take a bath but make sure you can handle the cold. "Better to bring your love Ones".🤞.. hehe

This natural and beautiful creation is located at one of the far-flung barangay of Municipality of Alegria approximately 19 kilometers away from the National Highway with an estimated time travel of 40-45 minutes. And the means of transportation going there is through motorcycles or preferably 4x4 cars while Sedans cars are strongly discouraged because the road is still under construction. You can also ride a motorcycle for hire from Barangay Sangi Alegria, Cebu with a fare of 250 pesos per head.

It took an hour to stay in that place and imagine that there are still beautiful things that exist. And we can also relate it in our real life that no matter what happens try to look and embrace the things that make you smile. 😍 For almost 1 hour of staying therein, I didn't see any people around or any sounds of vehicles only you could hear the soothing sound of the waterfall
and the burble of the river.

The waterfalls were surrounded by rivers that had fresh and clear water. So I drank from it and was sure the water there was clean because I didn't feel anything.

And the sounds of flowing water whispered in my ears to go far to discover other things in that place. As an obedient man, I followed the temptation... hehehe... in order me to answer the question of where the clear water came from.

So we decided to go to the other side of the river on foot and took off our shoes so that we could experience the meaning of adventure...😅

So we need to go down to the river and walk oppositely from the flowing water.

We experienced a weird or unpredictable temperature of the water, there were parts of the river that were cold and sometimes hot. At first, I hesitated because the place was so quiet and peaceful which was why I couldn't convince myself not to worry and because also sometimes the peaceful surroundings is the most dangerous one.

From the waterfall, we walked for almost 10 minutes to reach the other part of the river, but before that, we passed a little dark cave. The cave doesn't have any sign that it was entered by any person. I know that the cave is not ordinary because of its aura. It so happened that there were bats and other unknown birds coming out of that cave when we were about to approach the entrance, so we chose to stay away.

Gamot Spring

Well, my instinct and curiosity did not disappoint me a few meters away from the cave the wonderful view awaited us. A "Gamot Spring" "Gamot word means Roots in English" Beside the spring is a huge "Balete Tree" Upon observing and watching the tree and spring the hair on my body stood up because I do believe in Filipino Folklore that "Balete Tree" is the home of mystical beings. The place is mystical and I can say that other creatures protected the area.

As per account by the residents of the adjacent barangay. There were nights when the tree and river were full of flickers and they added that some people saw a group of kids bathing beneath the tree and when they tried to approach it suddenly disappeared.

But before we left the place, we offered some words to the creators or others who protected and took care of the place.
