Hey you adventurers!!! Take a moment as I tell you about our incredible adventure in Decemeber 2022 to the John Suwan viewpoint in the south of Ko Tao. Unpack your imagination because here comes fun, views and memories that will thrill you. I highly recommend this trip if you are ever on Ko Tao Island.
Let the journey start
Our journey started at the bottom of John Suwan Mountain. We both wondered what the hike or climb up the mountain would be like, but the thought of the view of the island from above drove us to start hiking without hesitation.
During the ascent, we met some other tourists who came towards us with beaming faces. Their enthusiasm infected us and we realised that we were not the only ones who mastered this challenge.
Then the ropes came into play - unexpected, but exciting. We climbed, pulled ourselves up and balanced as if we were in an adventure film. It was exhausting, but also full of fun, as we had never experienced anything like it before in Thailand.
Halfway up
As we set off again after a short rest halfway up, we felt a mixture of anticipation and ambition sweetening the remaining climb. Every step brought us closer to the summit and the excitement grew with every minute. Our expectations were high, but what awaited us at the top surpassed any imagination.
And then it happened - we finally stood on the summit of John Suwan Mountain and could hardly believe our eyes. The sight was simply overwhelming. A majestic panorama stretched out before us, combining the elements of sea, sky and islands in perfect harmony. The brilliant blue of the ocean blended seamlessly with the endless sky, while the lush green of the island provided a soothing backdrop.

It was more than a view - it was a feeling. We soaked up the impressions as if trying to imprint every detail in our hearts. The salty breeze of the sea mixed with the gentle wind touching our skin and the sun's rays laid a warm veil over the scene. Every breath felt like a connection with this sublime natural setting.
We took our time to enjoy the moment to the fullest. The camera was not just a tool in that moment, but a kind of extension of our longing to capture that view forever. The photos we took would remind us not only of the place, but of the happiness and aliveness we felt in that moment.

About 45 minutes later we made our way back. At the bottom, we felt proud and satisfied. Our next stop was Freedom Beach, where we rested on the sand and slurped refreshing drinks.

Our trip ended with a sense of adventure, fun and great views. We returned with memories that will stay with us forever. Sometimes you have to hold on to ropes to get the best views - and this experience was totally worth it.

Ahhhh nice to see you are back in Thailand again! Some friends of mine are also in Koh Tao at the moment..maybe it is a small world?
It's from December last year - but im travel there again end of this year ;) that's why i dont have a budget for mexico :(
