I am glad that covid19 seems to vanish already such that people can move freely without so many restrictions. Although I know that the virus still thrives fast in some other countries but I hope they will soon recover, I mean their countries will also be freed from the deadly virus very soon.

Anyway, I am also glad that amidst all those preparations and compliance with the authorities that should be done prior to our supposed travel, we were able to do and make things realized as planned. Although we were one day late of the schedule but everything was perfectly in place.
This is the old pool, I think this is more than 40 years already.
It’s not actually about covid19 related permits but it is about the vehicle we will be using. It is one of my long time wish and luckily it was granted, right timing for our trip to the place where I was born and raised.
Anyhow the reason why we need to travel is that we want to visit the resting place of my mother who passed away 6 years ago. So last Saturday was her death anniversary.
I think it's been a while since I got the chance to go home on this occasion, and I'm glad this year God allows me to do it together with my kids, my wife didn't make it due to her work. I know she really wants to go with us but maybe next time.
We started the journey Friday afternoon and it was a 4-5 hour travel by land. Ia had a hard time maneuvering the wheels due to heavy rains but I am thankful we arrived to our destination safe.
This is my niece's 11 years old son enjoying the pool alone LOL, it's like he owns the whole swimming pool.
I just enjoyed looking at those floaters scattered around like donuts LOL
THE DESTINATION
The destination was Kibawe, Bukidnon one of the fast-developing Municipalities in the province of Bukidnon. I think one and few of the municipalities in Bukidnon that has Seven Eleven and soon Jollibee.
This is where I was born and finished both my grade school and high school. I had so much memories in this wonderful place, that I will never forget it and will always visit when given the chance.
WE WERE EXCITED
Why we were excited? Aside from the fact that we will be able to travel together, we will also have the chance to roam around. We are not used to staying in one place whenever we're in Kibawe. And this time after visiting the resting place of my mother, we decided to go swimming, great bonding time with the whole family.
LUAN-LUAN SPRING RESORT
Although we normally go swimming every time we go home to Kibawe but this time we decided to do it at Luan-luan spring Resort located in Quezon, Bukidnon. This is not a new resort, it's been there for a while but people will really find time to go back again and again because of its very cold and flowing water, you can be assured that the water is really clean.
I’ve been there many times but for my kids, I think it’s their first time so the excitement was intense on their part. What I was excited about was being able to enjoy the cold free-flowing water coming from a spring again after so many years.
HOW TO GET THERE?
There are actually 3 ways to get there, if you are from Davao you can take a bus or private vehicle and will reach the place in just about 1.5 hours. While if you are coming from Cagayan de Oro City (our city) it will be around 3 hours travel and about 4 hours when taking public bus.
People from Kibawe (my home place) can get there fast in just about 30 minutes.
ENTRANCE FEE
Since the resort is under the control and supervision of the Local Government Unit of Quezon, Bukidnon, the fee is negligible, yes its cheap, for only less than 1$ you will get the chance to enjoy about 4 swimming pools inside the resort and I think they are still developing the area and maybe soon more pools will be added.
So that was it! The kids and I really had a wonderful time in Luna-Luan, you can see it in a lot of our photos I shared here.
