Hello everyone!! It's me Snowpea again, sharing my cruise holiday with all my friends on Hive.
Rob the robot
Do you remember last time I met some new robot friends on my cruise holiday? Today I met another one, he's called Rob and is a very clever robot. Rob is a bartender, he works in the Starship Club on the cruise ship, and can make a lot of cocktails all by himself. When Rob isn't busy making cocktails, he likes chatting to customers and telling people things about space. And, he knows 8 languages! How clever is that!!
At the Starship Club, we can go on a virtual cruise to the galaxy and have our photo taken afterwards. That was really fun!
Play time
During the sea days when we don't go on shore, there are lot of things for passengers to do. There's a big arcade with games, F1 Simulators, air hockey and even bowling alleys. I thought it would be really fun to snuggle into the bowling ball holes and be bowled out towards the pins, but LUT said it would be too dangerous and I might fly out and end up in the sea! Woops! That would be a disaster!
We went round to play on the games instead. Can you see me in the photos?
Dinner time
Sometimes for dinner, we go to the buffet. There's a lot of yummy food here. Apart from chocolate, I also like pizza, freshly baked bread and cakes. Yum yum! After each meal I make sure I eat plenty of fruit to stay nice and healthy. But not before I have some ice cream first!
LUT went to the bar to get me a drink, when the bartender saw me he allowed me to pull my own beer even though I'm under aged. He says it doesn't matter because I'm a doll and not a human being so the rules don't apply to me. Yipeee!!!
Bruges, Belgium
On a few days we visited some cities in Europe. One of them is Bruges in Belgium. This city is very pretty (just like me 😊) and LUT took this photo of me in front of the famous canals.
A lot of the shops in Bruges were already selling lovely Christmas decorations. We went inside one, and I was very surprised to see three of my cousins there. Do you see them behind me on the right? I'm super happy that now I have my own family photo.
Etretat, France
The other place we visited is a beautiful coastal town in Normandy, France. We had to catch a bus to get there. It's the first time I've been on the bus, and it was packed with people. Very daunting for a little doll like me. Luckily I can easily find somewhere to sit otherwise my little legs will get very tired if I have to stand for the one hour journey.
The views at Etretat is absolutely amazing, I've never seen anything so beautiful before, but then I don't get out much. LUT said the most famous landmark here is the arch and needle rock formation behind me. Isn't that beautiful like me!!!
All good things must come to an end
After a week onboard, my first cruise holiday finally ended. It has been a lovely experience for me and I hope you have enjoyed me sharing my holiday with you. If LUT takes me away in future, I will be sure to write about it again.

The cruise ships are like a mini city now, this one even had a big wurly curly slide on the top 19th deck which they said is 100m long!!
The robot? Serves and makes cocktails? Wut even😳 things are getting out of hand!! That's quite fascinating to say the least..
Tell me snowpea... Was that your first beer? Or have you had a few sneaky drinks on the side of which LUT doesn't know about? Ssshhh keep it hush hush😉
I envy your little trip, the coast of Normandy is definitely a wild one on my bucket list. Would love to stand and picture how D-day went down. From both perspectives German and Allies.
Anyways, im super stoked you had a lot of fun! All great things must come to an end ofcourse! But fear not I'm certain LUT will take you on plenty more 😅😅😎👀

Rob is very clever, they call him a humanoid because he has his own personality, different facial expressions and reacts to the surroundings, plus makes all the drinks by himself and delivers it to customer on the table !!
Different facial expressions? AND he goes to the table?? Scifi meets reality! 😵
Oh! Sorry for the confusion, he delivers the drink to customers on the table in front of him, not to their table 🙃. There are five positions on the table and each customer is assigned a particular position. It would be so cool if he delivers them to customers as well. However, robot waiters are starting to become a thing in some restaurants now!

Looks like a fun adventure. Good call going to Etretat in France. That's one of my favorite locations in the North. Amazing views like you said. Where was the cruise port in that area? Was it Fecamp?
We docked at Le Harve, hence the one hour bus ride. It was a very nice visit albeit a short stay. Must go back again
