Normally when users join Hive, we encourage them to write a self introduction post so the Hive community gets to know them better. It's a great way for newbies to meet more people as there are many teams in Hive welcoming newbies and to provide any support they need. A self introduction post goes a long way in establishing yourself and building your network, so although it's not mandatory, I would highly recommend it.

In that case it's better to do it earlier before you keep on pushing out more content. We have come across many imposters on Hive who monetize off other people's work. Particularly in our haveyoubeenhere community because they know if we curate them, the rewards can be very lucrative. That's why we are much more strict with our curation
