We have an ice skating rink down the street from our house, but it's usually only open for ice-skating practice and hockey games. My daughter seemed a little behind in her skating lessons, so we decided to visit the indoor ice skating rink in Montreal to give her some extra practice. The rink is located on the first floor of Le 1000 De La Gauchetiere, which is the tallest high-rise building in Montreal. This office building stands 51 stories high and is a prominent structure among the Montreal skyline. The rink is medium-sized and surrounded by various restaurants and a large glass dome above.
My daughter stands on her own while at lessons, but refuses to let go of my hand when I skate with her. Atrium Le 1000 has penguin trainers for kids, so she enjoyed skating with those while I had my hands free. Check out our photos below to see more of our ice skating adventure.

Hi! What a beautiful place and the photos very beautiful too. The idea of using the “penguin trainers” to make your daughter feel more confident and comfortable skating is great. It's exciting to see how kids are gaining confidence and skills in activities like ice skating.
That's so cute! I never learned how to ice ski even though I loved the roller skates as a kid.
