2,5 weeks is not a lot, a shame she couldn’t get more. But like you say…. Maybe one day you are back.
I like places that are not very touristy. Maybe something I should check out before it gets too busy for me.
Awesome, 5 weeks. That’s great. Also an own camper, it allows you to be anywhere you want. Even cook yourself and sleep.
I can imagine 😁 have fun with all the preparations.
We are looking at going to France this spring, driving around a bit 😎 nothing concrete planned yet…
Have a lovely day 🤗😘
When do you go? Well for France I can also give you some suggestions as I was living there for some time ;) - Maybe I should post about my France roundtrip next after Bolivia then to give you some inspiration haha <3
We love last minute decisions hahaha it could be already in a few weeks. Probably February. Who knows 😇
We are thinking the south west around Bordeaux and then inland maybe up to Poitiers or east towards Limoges. That is all we have in our minds for now. Maybe visit the town I was born in. That’s under Bourges.
That would be great, have you visited the above areas?
Hmm I lived long time in Paris and visited the south with my ex, as she was from there. Means there I saw Aix en Provence, Marseilles, Hyere, Saint Tropez, Cannes and Nizza.
2 years ago I did a round trip with my Mum where we visited the north with Nancy, Dauville, Etretat, Mount Saint Michele, Ils Dóleron and Loire Valley. So I might have missed exactly that part that you want to visit 😅
My internet was gone… hahaha including my phone reception so couldn’t hotspot it. Hubby just came back home and his phone had a network. We must get some bad weather now 🫣
Paris I could go each year to visit. We did so in 2022 the last time.
That’s funny, indeed you visited a lot, just not where we are thinking to go. 😂
The loire valley is just above it. It must be stunning too.
I have some friend in Lille and Montpellier but those locations are not on my list to visit. Maybe I meet up with my friends along the way if they want to hop on a train 😁
Cool if we end up in the area we think off, more places to add to the worldmappin map 🗺️
Oh no! Trapped in the snow with no possibility to get help 😱😱 - I hope the weather will be better soon! Hmm yeah, Paris has his charme.. not a great place to live there though... too noisy, too many superficial people, dirt, and bad vibes.. just too much city for my taste I guess. 😅 - IT was definitely an experience, but not a place I would want to live again.
I know… it was crazy yesterday. We have Starlink for our internet. It cut out but weirdly my phone too. Normally I do have a signal even if it is just 1G or 3G yesterday it was all gone. 😣
Luckily for these times hubby and I have both different providers. One of us has normally always reception. Also with traveling.
We won’t get trapped people know we are up here hahaha 🤣
I am the same, I couldn’t live in such a large city. Too much noise and energies… it would be bad for me. Give me nature anytime… a cute little village or fully remote is what I crave.
Paris is just for visiting. I can imagine it was an experience. We do learn from them. 😁
Thanks ☺️ romantic, nature and historic paths… all yes to that.
We sure have to get to the top 10. 😉
Enjoy your Saturday!
