❄️ Let's walk around the MEDIEVAL CASTLE OF ÖREBRO 🏰 ~ SWEDEN 🇸🇪

Come along and walk with me around the medieval #OREBRO SLOTT/ CASTLE today ~ in ÖREBRO, Örebro County, in SWEDEN. 🇸🇪
The #castle is positioned right in the middle of the #city on a little #island that is in the large #river Svartån. source
The walk is during the late afternoon and we will see some stunning details 😊 so read on… and have a look at my captures.

Let’s wrap up warm as it is the start of winter ❄️ in late November.
We wander towards the city’s centre and see some beautiful #autumnal #trees 🌳🍁🍂 some still have some leaves.

We walk here along the large river Svartån now. The bridge is stunning 🤩 The reds reflecting in the river… behind the left red trees the castle is hiding. 🏰

We walk towards the edge and look along the river back into the direction we came.

Underneath the large trees we see the castle. It is stunning! With its towers 😎 it is connected with bridges.

We take in the the right tower 🏰

Looking further left. The large buildings around this area are stunning and they fit well in with the castle.

We hear the water streaming under the bridge. Just look at how high it is and how fast it streams 😳

Let’s take a closer look 👀 DO YOU SEE THE ICICLES 🥶 HANGING ON THE CEILING OF THE ARCHES?

Even the little grasses along the rivers edge are frozen and icicles are hanging on them 😎🥶

I see more icicles the longer I look at the rivers edge. Wow so many 😁 a pretty cool sight!

Zooming in a bit more 🥶 look at the old mill stone. Beautiful #architectural detail.

Ok ok… let us focus on the castle a bit more before we are getting lost in all the details 😉
We walk further to the left over the bridge. The castle has 4 towers on each corner of it. Luckily the sky is light blue and the castle stands out well. So many little windows everywhere. Beautiful 🤩

On the #bridge we look behind us. More awesome buildings. I Love their #architecture. The water is very still and we see from all of them their #reflections in it. My second favourite photos from today 🥰

Walking a bit further we see this side of the castle and surrounding areas are undergoing some constructions 🚧

Along the walking path further left from the castle, almost next to the large statue. We find this #artwork. Just look at how large the bench is 😳 hahaha a group of school kids are lining up for photos and trying to climb up on the #enormous #BENCH

Looking through the construction fences… (next to the large statue) I capture the silhouettes of the church and other buildings. We see the sun is setting soon.

We wander further over the path and see more from the castle. The side we haven’t seen yet.

We reached the little bridge we started at, so we made a full round around the castle 😊 it is awesome you can do that here.

We take in the views from the river, imagine the height of autumn 🍂🍁 the colours would be amazing.

As we wander further to our next destination we want to check out. Along the path we see this VIEW! 🥰 My last favourite photo of today.
