Hello everyone? How is your New Year Holiday? According to the Vietnamese tradition, , instead of traveling to experience, they will choose to return to their family after a busy and busy year with work on New Year's holidays. I also choose to comeback the place where I was born on this New Year's Eve celebration. So now I want to tell you about the peaceful village, where I was raised and attached for many years, where there are people who always love and welcome me unconditionally.

Introduction about small village

My village is a small village of about 20 households located in the central part of Vietnam, which suffers from many natural disasters such as storms, floods, ...etc every year. People live by farming and animal husbandry. Beside, Rice is the main occupation here. Besides, corn, potatoes, vegetables are also grown by people to raise cattle and buffaloes.

Rice Field.

The field is a very familiar image of a Vietnamese village. It is an image that remains in everyone's memory when they are away from home, it is also the main source of income to support myself and each person growing up from this small countryside. the rice field has only been sown for about 1 month, you can see the young rice field in this season. Mostly, farmers have to do manual labor in the traditional way in my hometown . Although, now there are many modern machines for production, However the cost is too expensive. With the insignificant revenue from farming the people in my hometown, they cannot afford these machines.

how to grow peanuts.

On the occasion of visiting my hometown this New Year, I have the opportunity to join my family in planting peanuts. In my village, people do not buy cooking oil, but grow peanuts themselves and then press them. It saves costs and ensures the user.
At first, my father had to dig the soil by manual control. Then loosen the soil and create grooves for my mother to put the beans and manure in the soil, then backfill, The work looks simple but extremely laborious.

How to supply water to rice fields.

Phu Ninh canal is the source of production water in my village. Can you believe this canal is 100% hand dug by the farmers here. there is a water system that it will supply the water for rice fields about 10 days will be pumped once. The children here take advantage of this time of high water to have fun like in a real water park.

The image of a fire stove is a whole sky of memories, a place to warm up for the whole family when winter comes. In the busy and busy life in the city, perhaps we are used to modern kitchens and forget about this small corner. It is here that spread the love and nurture us as we are today.

My House-The place have full of love.

It is a simple, old house, However it contain unforgettable memories, the place that raised me to grow up as today. People use water from wells In my village , there is no modern water system like in the city. The narrow alleys get muddy when it rains.
This is a place that always tolerant and welcomes me every time I come back.
Around the house planted by my father is a ginger garden. It can be used to make jam every New Year's Eve.

Buffalo images.

The buffalo is considered the greatest asset of the people of my hometown. People often said that "the buffalo is the head of the business". Every family raises at least one buffalo or cow in here. Firstly, They will bring advantage of its traction, besides it also get economic benefits. Normally, a mother buffalo will be born to a baby buffalo, so people can earn about 15,000,000 VND per year.

The cute chickens.

Perhaps each of us can't forget the irresistible taste of chicken every time we go home:)).Every household in my village raises chickens in the garden. So that whenever there are guests or children from far away to treat guests.

The dream of a child growing up in a poor countryside.

The children here grow up like natural trees, they seem to understand that their parents have been so hard working in the fields. When they was 10 years old, they was able to help his mother blow rice, herd buffaloes, help with the field work, always study hard by them-self with just a small dream of being able to improve the family's life. Besides, if they are more successful, they can help the village where they were born have flatter roads and have street lights every night so that the elderly can travel more easily.

Simple and friendly souls.

The people are as simple and pure as unexplored the same as the scenery in here,. Especially the relationship between the village is very close. Whenever we have delicious and strange food, we are ready to share even the smallest.
When I was a children, my favorite thing to do in the afternoons ,it is tending buffaloes and playing with friends, baking potatoes and catching fish together. Those are innocent, carefree moments that I can't find again.

No matter where I live this place will always be in my heart and memory that I will never forget.
Instead of traveling with friends on holidays, I always choose to come back and gather with my family to eat cozy meals, full of laughter and love from my parents. There is only one place that is always welcome whether I am poor or rich, no matter what I do right or wrong, that is home.
