Amazing pictures and story. I didn't know what you mentioned about the sources plural thus ;) ) of the Loire. This was interesting (and cool) to read!
As a side note, I had a family trip to Auvergne planned a couple of years ago, but the pandemic made us cancel it all. This reminds me that we should reconsider that trip, one day ;)

I hope too. It is just a matter of deciding where to travel first. For now, it is family first; 'pure leasure trips' will come after.
