How are you? I've been swamped with my studies lately so I can't update much ^^. However, as the winter is coming, I want to write a brief post to introduce my favourite destination for winter in Switzerland.
Do you like Toblerone chocolate bars? That's my pick, especially the dark one. If you do love them (or know them), have you ever wondered what the mountain on these chocolate's bars packaging is? That mountain on the logo is Matterhorn, which is located in Zermatt, Switzerland. I didn't know this interesting fact until I visited the place.
This photo was taken in Zermatt village and you can clearly see the breath-taking Matterhorn.

It is easy to reach Zermatt by train. It took me around 3 hours to get there from Geneva.
Some photos that were taken while we were on the road. The view from the train in Switzerland is no joke. I always like to take a train if I can as it is the best way to enjoy the view.
The train stops in the centre of the village. If you want to see the Matterhorn clearer, you can also catch another train to go there.
Taking a walk around the village was just refreshing, and it wasn't too cold thanks to the sun. The village is small, so it took us only 1 hour and a half to discover the whole place.
As a girl from a tropical country, I always have so much fun when seeing the snow.
Zermatt village is surrounded by mountains, and in the middle of it are lovely wooden houses. This place really looks like a wonderland that is covered by snow.
During the summer time,Zermatt also offers hiking tours. Thus, next time, I will definitely go hiking there and discover the Matterhorn more.
