Disovering the Netherlands - Strand Club Witsands
On Friday, our team embarked on an unforgettable company outing to Strand Club Witsand, a stunning beach restaurant in the Netherlands. We traveled in style aboard a luxury Mercedes coach, complete with tables for our laptops and plenty of outlets to charge our phones. The journey itself felt like a VIP experience, setting the tone for a fantastic day ahead.

As we approached our destination there was an air of anticipation to see the beach and surrounds.

Once we arrived at Witsand, we were greeted by the refreshing sea breeze and an open bar featuring soft drinks, wine, and beer, helping us unwind after the trip. The restaurant treated us to a delicious spread, including slider burgers, chicken kebabs, steak, tuna steaks, shrimp, and a delightful assortment of salads, like pasta salad and fresh caprese. The food was as impressive as the view, with something for everyone to enjoy.
We spent the afternoon enjoying beach activities. Touch rugby, frisbee, and volleyball games kept everyone active and laughing. But for me, the highlight was dipping my feet into the sea for the very first time in the Netherlands. I was surprised by how beautiful the beach was—it’s not what you typically expect when you think of Dutch landscapes, but it truly exceeded all expectations.
The Team - getting the boma fire going
As the sun set, we gathered around a cozy bonfire, sharing stories and enjoying each other’s company. It was the perfect end to a day filled with fun, food, and relaxation.
It became cloudy and the rain started just as we needed to leave - so perfect timing.
When it was finally time to leave, none of us wanted to say goodbye to such a memorable experience.
Witsand, with its breathtaking views and laid-back vibe, made this outing one to remember!
Your company really spoilt all of you @leelektrik! That luxury bus ride for sure must have set the tone for a laidback day. The beach looks lovely and as for those snazzy sunbeds, awesome! A bonfire is always a great way to end a day in good company!
It was truly a surprise to see such a beautiful beach in the Netherlands. Definitely want to take Eden and my mom there.
I cannot wait to go back, likely next year only, but will arrange to meet up with you all.
