A visit to Heidelberg

in Worldmappin10 months ago

Hello hello, my dear readers. Today I want to share with you some images of a town that, by chance of destiny and the wisdom of a North American general, is still standing. This is Heidelberg, in South Germany.
Heidelberg is among the most beautiful towns in Europe, being a place frequented by tourists and all types of visitors.
It is impossible not to fall in love with this town that still preserves some structures from the Middle Ages.
Legend has it that during World War II, the Allies' order was to destroy every German town to rubble. But the general at the head of the advance said that such a beautiful town could not be destroyed.

[Certainly, Heidelberg is a town that seems frozen in time, and is without a doubt one of the greatest architectural treasures in Europe. A must-visit place to enjoy its castles, interior canals, wines and seasonal strawberries]

If you have made it this far, all that remains for me is to thank you for reading me. We will meet again on another visit to an amazing place.
