Haha yeah, the cheapest hotel in Iceland. 😅
We would have loved to stay in a great hotel, but as students we didn't have much money to spare. Also, it's just sleeping through the night, we don't need a hotel for that.
Yeah we liked very much truffle aioli so when we came back home I had to learn how to make it.
Thank you so much! We just posted day 2 if you want to check it out :)
I've never tried but it sounds expensive to make.. I don't know a ton about truffles other than the cost. I doubt I'll ever buy them! But these bulk-made ones, like Stonewall, are delicious and affordable :)
Ehh fuck a hotel! I've almost exclusively lived out of cars while traveling. Sure, a hotel would be nice, but then you're pretty much missing out on all the fun shit you could be doing if you put that money elsewhere. I am looking forward to looking at your day 2!
We once bought I think it was a mixture of truffles and other mushrooms so it wasn't that expensive. And we made Aioli, it was very tasty :)
Exactly that! I couldn't agree more. When you get out of your comfort zone you can sleep anywhere and it's way more interesting and adventurous. If we had stayed in a hotel, we wouldn't see half of the staff we did! Thank you so much, you seem like a really cool and nice guy :)
